Introduction
So this thread is basically a small feedback thread on ForumKorner and a small chunk of it about myself. How I came to this site, etc. I have been around here for just over 2 years. However that being said I did miss a big chunk of that time in my little hiatus. So this feedback is about my time on the site, active and all that. I'm an honest person when I need to be, so don't take anything to heart if what I type on this thread offends you. I am entitled to my opinion as much as the next person that roams this site.

Staff
Overall the staff in my time here has done their job decently well, I remember the old ones and such. They seemed fine. Recently though Philly seemed to have stripped the staff team and left only himself and a few moderators. So I'll do my feedback on them, how they are doing currently. If I don't have something to say about them, then it simply means I don't see them much (might be a timezone issue, or whatever.)

@Philly - Honestly, you are a great admin. Not to sound like a suck up or anything. But over my time here, you have been very nice to me. You have a lot on your plate and I really do hope you find a trust worthy staff team to replace the ones you lost. As hard as that may be. We have talked through messages quite a bit during my time on ForumKorner and you have either answered my stupid questions (when I was new) or just being respectful when I was changing my award and/or just having a chat and seeing how you were.
Keep up the good work, this site has gone far. The small changes you implement here and there seem to always be done well and executed smoothly. You're obviously an experience forum owner and it shows. Love the site, always will.

@GrƷƷd - One of my long time friends on this site, helped me a lot with my sites. Giving them content and bringing traffic to them. Old timer on this site as well, shows dedication and always will likely. You're pretty active and I could see you getting promoted back to staff again. I think you've shown that you are trust worthy. Professional and mature, never seen you ever not being that way, so it is your personality that suits the job/position to hold moderator.

@Color - I don't know you too well. I will update this when I see more. I just came back, nothing against you.

@Rude - Same goes for you, along with Color. Nothing against you, I'll update this later on.

I do like how this forum has a smaller team, but hopefully Philly brings back the staff group to help him out. There are members here that would dedicate a lot of time to the site and give you the quality you deserve.

Community
The community for the size of the forum it is. Is actually half decent. You do get some of the brats that think their shit doesn't stink. But like I said for the size of the forum it's a nice place to hang out and learn a few things along the way. I've met some good friends on this site that I still talk to today. That is one thing forums are good for, making new connections and you can easily break them when they don't go well and can't be fixed. You can learn a lot from the sections this forum offers too, such as for example:

Computing - Everything and anything you need to know about computers can basically be found in there. Very helpful.
Graphics - I've found some great tutorials in here that I've used to make my noobie skills stronger.
Webmaster - Probably my favorite section. I have learned a lot in here, especially about MyBB when I was designing my forums.

There are obviously more sections, but these are the ones I've personally used in the past and still do. The members inside those forums are pretty helpful and they know what they are talking about, usually. You can learn a lot about these things and many more on ForumKorner. It's not like other sites and members try to act like a smartass or instantly shut you down for asking a "stupid" question.

Layout & Design
@Johnny_S has done a wonderful job with this theme. It improves more and more as time goes on. All the little features are a nice touch and my favorite part of this theme is the ability to customize it a bit to your liking so you can edit the colors and size of it. Basically making the forum have your own touch and not be restricted to one theme/color layout.
It's easily manageable and very user friendly. Nothing seems to be broken that I have come across but overall this theme beast most of the others. Since ForumKorner was pretty much the first one to have this style made by Johnny, it seems to be popular across the board to other forums. My forum even had a theme similar to this and it's where I got my ideas from to give to Johnny when he was making my theme. Makes me want to learn how to make things like this, would be a fun experience and give you a lot of knowledge along the way.

Great theme overall and I always love coming to this site because of it.

ForumKorner Autobiography
I'll keep this as short as possible since this is a feedback thread and not about myself. However I did want to touch on what brought me here, why I stayed and where I went for a little while and of course my return.

I joined back in November 2012, was active for a long time. Made a few friends and usually kept to myself and browsed the forums. I normally only post when I really think I'd benefit the thread and not post because I can. I sometimes post for fun but even then I try to at least put a meaning behind my posts. I came to this site because @Christy showed me it I believe and I thought it was a clever name, then Philly and the staff team were pretty friendly, which in turn kept my around. I went on to learn more about websites, graphics mostly and just played ninja for a while as I lurked.

I left due to problems in real life for a while and other things. Was a pretty long break from here, like half a year. I came back just recently and saw the site didn't change too much and even had a nice sexy theme to boot. Was pretty happy about that and decided to be active again as my life is going pretty smoothly now. Almost done college for welding & fabrication. Then will be going back to the military as a Materials Technician. But for right now, and likely for a long time. I'm back to ForumKorner and it's always a pleasure to use this forum to gain more knowledge, meet new people and just relax and take it easy.

That's all I pretty much wanted to say about me.

Conclusion
Overall ForumKorner is one of the best General forums and likely always will be due to the fact it was made when the niche wasn't so saturated. I can see this forum keeping alive for more years to come. Thanks for making this site, Philly.

You are welcome. The site has always been a fun time for me, even if it just to waste some time once in a while but other times I do get a lot out of it thanks to the users on here. So overall, the experience is good. Didn't seen your reply for some reason, thanks again for the site. Long live FK.

Excellent post. If anyone is interested in creating their own feedback thread, by all means grab a piece of paper and a pen and take notes.

It is always interesting to hear what others think about the forum, however, it is a shame that very few people actually read feedback threads. It's more of a shame that so few people create feedback threads. Feedback threads are to be used as a basis for improvement and are essential to the enhancement of forum boards and I encourage anyone interested in creating one to do so.

I hate the fact that overtime complementing the handiwork or good acts of an administrator or forum team member has created the laughable masquerade that one is a "suck-up" or  an "ass-kisser". You shouldn't have to defend your comments in regards to the good deeds accomplished by the forum team.

Thank you for the good read.
