Do animals have kharma?

I believe that everyone and everything is affected by karma, because if you do something wrong you'll face the consequences.

It's a hard thing to say, as no one knows about the intellectual level of animals.
While I think that everyone and everything is affected in some way by karma, I don't think they are as affected as we, humans, are.

Karma is not a aware being, it does not reason, it does not think. Karma isn't anything special.
If you do good, it's very likely you'll be rewarded for that. Not by karma, but by society.
If you do bad, it's very likely you'll be punished for that. Not by karma, but by society.

This goes for everything that can make choices.
