Do clothes make humans more attractive/appealing?
There are many arguments, and counterarguments to take. Think hard and carefully on this one ladies & gentlemen.

Clothes have the ability to hide what's underneath. If you were to look at a girl sexually, the human mind imagines, to no certain extent, perfection in one way or another. The imagination can give her a perfect tan or skin underneath those clothes. The imagination can pretend like she's completely shaved. The mind imagines a less-flawed body. Sometimes, the possibility of what a girl looks like bare is better than the true reality.

I do believe clothing makes humans more attractive. It makes them feel attractive. I believe the colour and style of clothes is also attractive to an extent. For example, certain colours on clothing will bring out their eyes.

A person's taste in dress is not a defining factor for how attractive they are. That's not to say that it isn't disregarded at all, clothes can be used to mask flaws, or enhance aesthetics.
I would have to say yes, it does improve a person's aesthetic if they are capable of dressing well. Think of it as a bonus, similarly if they share other interests with you. Just don't make it a priority when seeking your other half.

If you were to be at a beach and you saw a girl with average sized tits, you most likely would feel aroused. If you were used to seeing tits everyday it'd be nothing special it'd be normal; not as sexually energetic I suppose. Therefore technically they do make women more attractive if you look at it from that perspective.

yes and no. Depends on you're a superficial dumbass. Im by no means one of those "Looking for a sole mate idc what they look like ass faqs". But i want a girl that can dress appropriate for the occasion and look attractive. But im not a idiot who thinks a girls hot because she has the most expensive clothes. Its about weather i can joke with you, and have a serious conversation.

Clothes can certainly change someone's appearance for better or worse.
But I would say yes.

Thank you @Michael for being the first person to clearly answer the question with a solid argument. I will be quoting all arguments I believe are solid on the OP.

No I don't think so because I'd rather see them naked and next to me in my bed.

My answer was LQ..

So here is my real answer.

Having a nudist living around my area feels great, she's actually hot..She is against wearing clothes, and so is her whole family..I don't understand how many people can do it, even as a believable 'religion' or whatever it is to make them need to do that, But then think of it in our prospective, If a girl was looking at a lad and saw him wearing a tank top or something that was matching his trousers or his hairstyle or something, she's going to have like an erotic kinda feeling I guess, whatever she's into..

But from my prospective I'd have to say yes, Girls with nice clothes and easy to take off make everything a lot better..If you get what I mean ;)

I'm going to add this idea:

Yes, because if some girl has pancake nipples, no one wants to see that..
Also, designs on clothings match with peoples eyes, facial features, hair etc.

Yes, they most definitely can, i.e yoga pants and leggings, however, they can most definitely make you less attractive as well. My attraction to someone isn't going to very strong if they're wearing something ugly as in comparison to them nude.

I don't get this debate.

It's not a matter of what you get or don't. I just wanted to view everybody's varying viewpoint on this matter. Why do you think it is that humans can find clothes more attractive when sex was the very thing our species is built around?

I didn't realise that this thread was weighing between clothed and unclothed - my whole post was based around dress sense.

A large quantity of clothing is designed to make you appear attractive. Our naked bodies weren't designed with the intention to be attractive, whereas clothing is, therefore more attractive in capacity. An ugly person can become attractive with the right clothing, however, when nude will remain ugly.

But don't naked bodies make humans horny? Being horny is an attraction, is it not?

@Astro your post still helps give ideas to the reader.

I Think clothes do make you more attractive. I mean if a girl is like a 9 and she's wearing some bummy clothes I believe a well dressed 7 would look more attractive.
