I beleive the world will end, yes, but hopefully when I'm old because I'd REALLY like go know how we all die, but in 2012 pschh that weatherman be trollin.
Whoever it is they just won a $1.000.000 bet with there fellow colleigues because he made 3/4 of the planet beleive a complete bs story. But then again IF and I say IF I'm wrong, who's going to laugh at me? I'm dead. Who wins now
No, I don't believe in said prophecy, I believe it's just a lot of shenanigans thrown together to freak everyone out, such as Y2K. However, oddly enough, there are supposed to be a few scientific phenomena that occur in 2012, but I don't believe they'll be anything more than an inconvenience at the time. Lol.
No. The prophecy is now coming to a close. The only thing is people fearing for their lives, this will be just like when "War of the Worlds" appeared on the radio. It's a fake as of now. There are studies that reveal there are no planetary alliances durring that time/day and they now have evidence that suggests the calendars that have ended on that date were because they didn't need it. As of now we know we'll live for a long time, but for a culture back them that's relatively small and spread out do you really think they need to make a calendar covering the next few generations ahead including when they will be gone?
I don't believe in the prophecy.
It's a great idea though, since they based off a decent movie from it, 2012 of course.
There hasn't been enough out of the ordinary world changing events that have happened
to exactly pin point that 2012 will indeed happen. The Mayan Calendar simply ended,
and there's no connection between the calendar with the "end of the world" at all.
If it were to end though, heck I'd do things I probably wouldn't ever do.
I believe something will happen but it's not going to be mass destruction and chaos. Realistically, flooding and the ice age will take years, everything else is media. Sure it's been years and it's happening, but it wont just BAM happen like that. I know my bit isn't backed up with much support, but I've had this debate so many times and gone into it in depth that simply only worth summarizing at this point.
