Do you ever ask yourself those difficult questions?

When I say difficult questions, I mean questions that we'll most likely never known the answer to, questions like "Is there a god, or higher being?", " What's the true purpose of the universe?", "How did the universe begin, if there was nothing before the universe?" and once you ask yourself questions like those, you start asking yourself more questions like "If there is a god, why does he let us suffer and feel pain?", "If the purpose of the universe is to have life, why did it take so long for life to finally to appear?". I ask myself these questions all the time trying to seek an answer, to get a better understanding of life, because it's so complex. I'm a critical thinker, I never stop thinking, these are the questions that drive me insane. I'm curious, do you ever ask yourself questions like these? And what's your answer to them?

Yes.

"I wonder if banned members are secretly multi-accounting and really trusted"

Well, the answer to your question is yes. There are people who get banned for scamming or something else, then multi-account and become trusted, then once their trusted enough they go scamming people. That's why you can never trust anyone. That wasn't really a difficult question.

I do this so often. I love thinking about it and really getting into it though. Maybe we should get together and have a conversation about the origins of the universe and what we think about it? Nice thread man. Extremely well detailed.

The question that always gets me is I start to think about me being me... I'm not anyone else, I never will be. I'll never see anything from someone else's literal view. I'm in my own body, I'm Paul, not Evvy, not Chris, not Tyler... I'm my own person and I'll always be me. I just get mindfucked when I think along that train of thought. Anyone else get that? I don't know if I described that the best.

I understand that I am who I am, I never got very confused on that topic. The question I get mind-f*cked on is when I ask myself " How did the universe begin, if there was nothing to begin with?". That question is beyond comprehendable.

If we define a deity as something that has no beginning or end and is outside of time, saying there's a God works pretty well

But that's just not physically possible, but they're frickin' god. So, it would make sense, but It's still physically incapable.

Someone make a thread about the origin of the universe. I'd like to see what others think about the topic. lol. As for the question that really gets me, is if we will never know the true size of the universe, how will we ever really know ourselves? We still to this day have no idea of how we got here. There's many strongly evidence supported theories, but there's no one explanation as to how. I don't think there ever will be either.

The most difficult question I ask myself is "One day I'm going to die, what then?"

Sit and think about that for awhile, it will really make you think about your future.

The universe is always expanding, it's infinite really.

What I imagine is sleeping forever once I die, because you know how when you fall asleep without dreaming, you just wake up the next minute, except in this case you don't wake up. I don't think there is a afterlife and the fact that I know I'm going to die can be very insiprational, It can give you a completely different perspective on life.

Nope, my mindset doesn't allow me to, anymore...

I just live life not giving a fuck. Sure once in a while, I may have those thoughts, but I try to get rid of them ASAP.
All they end up doing is making you sad and what not. It may be "cliche" but I just live life to the fullest instead of sitting around with your thoughts going in circles.

I don't believe in a afterlife, I believe death is just like sleeping, except it's forever. Like how I said before.

I think asking yourself questions like these can help you understanding of anything and at times healthy for you, I enjoy asking myself difficult questions. Yes, some questions can be depressing and yes some of the answers you come up with might not satistfy you, just avoid them, and if you're not satisfied with your answer you can always just tell yourself that no one knows the true answer to it.

I think I understand your question, sorry, you worded it weirdly. Do you mean you always ask yourself, If you did something, what would your consequnces be? If that's the question, then you're not alone, I think about, how if I do this, then what will happen a lot. Thinking about what could happen if you do a certain thing is very normal thing to think about.

well here's what I think or live by atleast. I have a long ole testimony if you would like to hear we can get on xbl.
but there's a God who created everything. everything serves a purpose here on earth. when my death comes upon I expect to go to heaven haha as weird as it might sound. thats what I expect. you can say I was reborn when I accepted Jesus Christ as my true savior. previous to that my life was horrible. to much to list thats why we can talk on xbl lol. but as long as you remain a good person through out your life and do good things for your community and keep God in your heart and live by his laws
then you're good.

I believe in being a good person, not because I want to go to heaven, but because I believe it's the right thing to do, god or no god.
