Someone wrote this question on a catholic church wall and they responded "god loves you with no exceptions!"

Yeah okay think about this though? How was the first person/animal ever created? No man in the entire galaxy or that ever has existed created us. Three was technically "no god"

If you want the straight answer, it is a no but here are the causes:
  • Your life is a gift from God. You can take good care of this gift or you can just turn it into a junk by smoking fo example, basically by ruining yourself. Once you're at the last judgement, God will ask you: "What did you with the gift I gave you?" and you'll get really shy if you suicided and you'll obviously be sent to hell.
  • Another thing is that life is a test, suiciding is like giving a white empty sheet of paper because you can't pass the test.
  • "Only God can judge ya" might be a quote by Miley Cyrus the bad girl but if you deeply think about it it's true. If you kill yourself because you're a bad person, you are judging yourself instead of asking for forgivness. God has a great heart and he will forgive you no matter what you did, you just have to ask for it and being sincere.

That's all I've got to say about God and suicide, if you're asking this because you are thinking of suiciding, please PM me.

Elaborate on the concepts of deja vu?

It's just a question I thought about every now and then when I'd talk to religious people. Thank you though!

See on déjà vu I think that is us reliving something like we lived once before and we were born again and like it just replays. But we don't remember our past life? You no what I'm saying?

What would cause such a thing? Have you ever experienced anything supernatural? I have and still do once in a while.

This is going to be a long debate as it's going to involve a lot of religious talk. Firstly, you're stating it as if you know Heaven is real and I like that but many others won't. You will receive many replies from non believers talking about what happens when you die; nothingness, decay and worms. If you're a believer such as I am, this is a completely different story. When you die, I believe your spirit gets sent to either Heaven or Hell. People need to realise that God doesn't send us to Hell, we send ourselves there. We've been given a choice of free will and we take it to our advantage when we are meant to serve the Lord. If you die with repentance, forgiveness and a pure heart then I believe you will go to Heaven. In order to be saved, I believe you need to do a lifelong act of serving God and his will. Suicide is against God's will.

1 Corinthians 3:17
"If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple."

To me, suicide is an equivalent sin to murder.

That is in no way in relation to anything supernatural.

Closest thing to relate to that is when I had a dream about someone and met them the next day.

And this completes my post. I really like the last sentence you said.

I wasn't stating it as if God is real, I know there are a lot of atheist/agnostic people on this forum. This was simply derived from a lyric. However, the church's response "god loves you without exceptions" made me wonder.

As an Atheist, I do not believe in an afterlife, and therefore I believe that death is simply death, no matter how it happens.
We are only given one life, and when it ends, I don't believe that there is anything more.

God does love with without exceptions. Refer to my post previously, "People need to realise that God doesn't send us to Hell, we send ourselves there". I know that God loves us unconditionally, why should that make you wonder if he send ourselves there?

I don't see any logic in this while atheism is all about logic and science while afterlife is even a bit more logical while theism is sort of about believing without needing logic.
