Do you go to heaven?

Don't think there is a "Heaven."
I believe that's what people say to comfort themselves about death.
Once you dead, you're dead.

Please elaborate, 4 words won't be enough to convince anyone anything.

Exactly, we respect your opinion but you should support it with more explanation.

I'm some what stuck! I believe I would but..
It seems like if you were able to pass away seems like you would be in a deep sleep with not able to wake up

No. I do not believe in heaven/hell. I do not believe God exists. As someone said above, I believe heaven is a way that some people have to cope with the thought of death. Personally, when I think about death, I get depressed. But I cannot bring myself to believe in something that I know (in my mind I know) that it is not true.

Explain other phenomena such as deja vu, spiritual experiences, etc.

I believe that if you die in a certain religious mindset, you go where you learned through your spiritual journey. Die Christian, heaven or hell, die buddhist, etc.

Thank you, that's what I'm looking for. Not a stupid "oh, God isn't real" response.

I dislike the idea of not going to heaven if you choose to end your life.
My grandfather committed suicide and the church refused to bury him on their grounds, I wasn't born at the time but from just hearing my mother speak about it I find it just morally wrong.

I respect every belief that there is, including this one but to me the idea is absolutely absurd.
Having a lot of friends who have committed suicide or tried just changes my view, I don't see how some people who are so kind and caring could end their life and then go to hell.

I think of hell as a place for punishment, not somewhere that people who can't find a way to cope with something go.
This is all just my personal opinion, I'm not sure how I could offend someone but I'm straying from attempting to in anyway.

Everybody goes to heaven.
Hell is just a place to face your fears.
After you finished facing it then you go into the universe and see the secrets

I mean if you ask God to forgive you, it's possible you can still go after committing suicide

Somewhere in the Bible it discusses how it is not God's plan for you to kill yourself, which confuses me because he has a plan for everyone...

There you go. The church's statement threw me off a bit.

That is where free will comes in.

The Catholic religion says you don't go to heaven if you commit suicide, I am pretty sure...but nobody really knows if you go to heaven or not post death...nobody even knows if heaven truly exists. People use religion to answer these questions.
