Personally i think that $150 you should be able to buy a brand new iphone 3gs but they are like $300.

Apple iphones are expensive because they can be expensive if you understand what i mean, Almost all have a iphone why not set a high price if people buy it anyway? And if some people not buying it bad for them apple is an company they also want a big profit on their sales.

Yes iPhones are very expensive. It's part of the reason why I still have a 3g and not a 4. Hopefully, when the iPhone 5 comes out, the newer generations will decrease in price.

The reason it's expensive is because there's only one Apple. No other company makes the same phones as Apple.

You can get similar phones from companies like LG and Samsung; all phones that come from companies like these are quite similar.

But the iPhone is the only thing that's unique from all those other phones. For example, it's the only phone that has access to the *cough* REAL *cough* app store.

So, even if Apple prices the iPhone at $1500, people will still buy it, because there's no other phone like it.

Disaku no offense but itouch 2g are worth $80 not almost $200. i dont know if you bought it new or used but you might want to check out if you got ripped off.

Iphone 3GS are REALLY cheap now but probably considering Iphone 5 coming sometime soon probably. Most phones are around the same price as iPhones so I think it is an ok price to have.

yes, they are way to overpriced and way to overrated. And the problem is that you pay a good ammount for the apps also, while on android, they are much more simplier.

Well, with the high amount of demand, and the amazing quality/features, I think the price is fine. If you've owned any Iphone at all, you'll know as long as you don't chuck them at the wall, they'll last a very long time. Why, mine is over 2+ years old. Not too long, but I also had (now my brothers.. he's 7) an Iphone 3, and that is around 3-4 years old. Still running strong.


Apple products are a little expensive, but they're very good & worth the cash in the long run. Oh, I'm posting this from my MacBook Pro, haha!

Yes in my country apple all products are very expensive specially iphones. All people usually buy them from outside or tell their relatives to buy one for them and send it.
