Do you think that Genetically Modified Food is totally safe?

Do the scientific techniques used to produce GM food pose any threat to the environment and to the health of consumers? In Europe the debate over GM foods is very lively.

My opinion is that only time will tell if modern biotechnology will harm humans and the environment so meanwhile i won't consume GM foods.

Well Genetically Modified Foods is possible a Threat, but think of it also that is a revolution to the Foods itself and also an alternative. Imagine that there was a Famine, and Traditional Crops cannot grow on that area. Well it could help us to revolutionize our crops/food.

Well Genetically Modified... the name of the food says it all... i mean if you change the genetics of an aliment or food... that involves chemicals and stuff... so yeah i think it is harmful ...

well genetically modified food might have some ill effects on our health too as they are not natural and genetical alteration has been done to them.but yes its a long term study and we can not predict anything about future.best thing would be to wait for some time to watch the results.

Actually Genetically Modified food is not always safe.now everything is going to duplicate so we can't surely say that it is safe but may be it is more safe then other.

I don't believe genetically modified food is totally safe. Anything that alters the natural design of God isn't right. God's design is so perfect that if we make alteration of it would have a negative effect. I don't agree with that system. Although it may have a positive outcome, the negative aspects must be considered too.
