Does human life begin at conception?

Does human life begin when the fetus is viable? Does human life begin when we are finally born? These questions have been around for a long time and have been debated against thoroughly.

A human dies when their heart stops beating, correct? So life begins when the heart starts beating, which is at about 7-8 weeks old.

When does a human die? When his heart stops beating. So surely life begins when the heart STARTS beating. This is at roughly 8 weeks. We must tackle both questions in order to solve this dilemma.

What do you think?

I think the earliest "life" would be the sperm, and whatever it is made up of. I think any organism, or anything that will become an organism, is worthy of being considered life. But I suppose you arent "human" until a certain point. I guess it just depends on what you consider life to be. In my eyes it doesnt have to be developed or intelligent, it can be simple and purposeless, but still be/have life. I mean, the human aspect of life doesnt come until down the road, but there are many stages that come before you are a human, and I consider those life just the same. They are equally important and necessary. Similar to the seed of what will one day be a flower.

Well of course it begins with conception, without it there would be no life. :p
I guess I'd consider it at the beginning of pregnancy.
