most of us have this hobby of listening to music.but do you prefer listening to music when you are so much immersed in any particular job that needs a lot of concentration?does it help you to concentrate more on your work or distracts you?
It's usually depending on my mood. It doesn't matter how hard the work is, but the mood itself must be set. Yes it helps me when I'm on a good mood, when it is bad, well I don't know if that would help or not. Since I listen to music anytime when I'm doing some works.
ACTUALLY , it depends on the situation we are facing and the music we are listening.For example , if you are in mood of having peaceful day then rock , pop and hard music is not your choice but if you are feeling to have a party then , those music is your choice .Music always close to our heart. Listening soft music when trying concentrated really helps me out .

i think the answer differs from person to person.as for me if am doing something which requires a lot of concentration,i prefer a complete silence so as to not getting distracted anywhere.if a song is playing i get carried away and my efficiency is decreased.so if i am doing dome work which doesn't require much of concentration i play music.

It depends on the type of music that I am listening to. If it's soft relaxing music then I find it very calming and it helps me to concentrate, if it's something that will distract me and make me want to dance then obviously I don't find it as appealing.

For me yes! Like when im at work,it inspires me to do job actively,and sometimes it decrease boredom.well it depends also to the kind of music im listening to.
As I am replying to this post, I am listening to different types of music - R&B and the playing Hawaiian beat to the adjacent beach party. I am not distracted at all since I love to listen to music.

i feel the same way.music takes me away from everybody else and i get lost in the lyrics.so i avoid playing them when i have to concentrate on something important.
It depends on the person. Me for example, if I am copying something that is very long, I generally listen to music, and that also help me writing quicker. In other situations I don't listen because i loose concentration.
