I dont expect many if any responses to this (Or any with substance to them).

But personally i believe pornography does take a toll on how you view women. I believe that the more porn you watch the more you objectify women and see them as objects. i believe that it desensitizes you to nudity and other stuff. The harder the porn the less you care. One common thing amongst death row inmates was hardcore pornography. Im not saying if you watch porn you'll be a rapist or murderer. But the chances are much greater, most pedophiles are avid porn watchers as well.

Ted Bundy talks about it here : http://www.bestgore.com/execution/ted-bundy-last-interview-before-execution-autopsy-photos/

Ted bundy was serial killer who raped women and said it was fueled by porn. Ted Bundy is a sick man, but lets not get confused he was very intelligent as well. No matter what people say he was not crazy, just he was desensitized to what he was doing. Just like a soldier whose been in war for years. At first they throw up at dead bodies, might not even sleep for awhile. but as time goes on they kill easier and without thought.

I dont expect anyone to listen to that whole interview because most people have the attention span of a squirrel, when it comes to anything other then a OG.

But if you have any what do you think about this.

Wow. Suprised this hasn't really been answered.

No, I don't think PORN itself influences you, however, I think it might plant the ideas. It's your decision/choice, whether to take those ideas and do something with them or not. Just like a gun, the gun itself does not do the killing, you do it, with the use/idea of a gun. I'll be honest, I watch porn, and I think 99.9% of all the men/boys on this website have been exposed to SOME type of porn/sex/nudity even if it's just the chit-chat at school. However, I don't see women as objects, I see them as people. Watching porn at a very young age, however, can make a child's idea of a women think of a sex tool or something similar. Nudity should NOT be something that is gasped at when a young child see's it. Nudity is something in nature, that was created. There shouldn't be a reason to hide it, however many americans (not bashing) think it's some big deal (society has turned it into that). For example, in many European countries like France, nude beaches are a fairly common thing, find one nude beach in America and tell me where it's located (probably won't find one).

I couldn't really think of a valid conclusion, but I hope I answered all of your questions. Like you said @California, I don't think many people will be answering this with detailed answers.

Yes, porn affects me dramatically. I don't even like watching porn anymore because of the way it alters my perception of women. It gives a fictitious persona for sex that women all have perfect bodies, give great head, and do whatever the guy wants. In reality, it is a rare instance to find such a girl. Sex isn't all it is made up to be.

Of course, it affects many people in negative ways, but i don't place blame on the porn providers, just like I don't place blame on cigarette manufactures. Ultimately, it is us that makes the choice to take part in these things.

As far as desensitization, eh, its true to an extent. Depends on the person though. Certain things can not be desensitized, while other things can. For example, I would never be desensitized to someone killing a puppy...I just wouldn't, that shit makes me want to throw up, and I have seen crazy shit like that on multiple occasions.

I think desensitization is more likely in the porn business simply because not a part of it is related to something bad on its own...Something you perceive as horrible or fucked up might never be sensitized, but something that you see as acceptable, but that turns you on, can be...If that makes any sense lol....

But yes, it does cause you to think about women as objects, and I have experienced that first hand, but at the same time, if you have the intelligence, you also understand that its a false objectification, and you don't "REALLY" think of them that way, its mostly just your penis that thinks that way initially.

Hope that makes sense, it is kind of hard to explain

I understand what you're saying, by desensitization does just end at porn it's at everything. I you kill a animal everyday for 30 days(god forbid)( and I mean straight like curb stomp that shit) after day 15 I promise you won't feel the same as you did on day one. I've first hand talke to my cousins and uncle who are in military Two have seen combat and said it does desensitize you to death of kid an women and men. One openly admitted that he's killed (as all I know of) a kid I Afghanistan becuSe the kid you're to kill him . He said he wasn't proud of it but he said at the moment it felt as if he was just killing another person. (Typing on iPhone)

People are so scared of sex and nudity. They act as if desensitization to nudity or sex is a bad thing, which it's not. Now, objectifying women is another thing.

Porn might have different effects on certain people. To some, it might make them see women as an object. However, this is not the majority of people who watch pornography. You selected the worst people in society and revealed that they watch porn. This is very misleading. You must point out that almost everyone, male or female, says that they have watched pornography. Most males watch consistently, and the majority of those males will not go on to be murderers or rapists.

As far as your ted bundy thing goes I THINK you are far from reality. Porn helps you release those violent sexual urges in a healthy way that does not hurt anyone. As for objectification of women that all depends on the person. Because you know porn is fake right? Sex doesn't actually happen like that and 99% of women dont act like that.

That's by far the most outlandish thing I've seen. The more you fanatasize the more your desire is and you want to enact it. That's human nature. @leader yet you and lame didn't watch the video FF to the last 15 mins of the video then edit your post because you're wrong

Don't just claim that I'm wrong without proving it. What one serial killer says doesn't mean anything. That's an isolated example and does not represent the majority.

Sex is nothing like porn, half of you kids reading this who haven't seen a pussy, but say you have. Don't expect porn pussy. Don't expect to last eight hours either unless you on pills or smashed.

I edited my post because of a typo. Stop being so defensive it's. My.opinion and shouldn't angre you at all. Your processe of thinking is the same as "video games cause violent behavior". Like @leader said. Don't claim someone is wrong with no proof.

I draw porn for a living, if anything it makes me feel less nervous around girls and I am not some weird looking kid so that helps too.

This is ridiculous. Simply put, if Ted Bundy is proof that porn does lead to violent urges, then im proof it doesnt. And there are a lot more people like me in the world than there are Ted Bundy. I hardly watch porn anymore, it grosses me out these days, part of it is maturing I think. I dont know how far you're trying to take this relationship between porn and violence/objectifying women, but I dont think porn alone leads to that. As others have said, it depends on the individual and that individual is responsible for whatever reaction they have to watching porn. Just like anything else. I agree that porn leads to desensitization of nudity, which I have no problem with because nudity is reality. Clothes are not a part of the human body, sexual organs are. I do see a problem with unrealistic expectations, which the porn industry is guilty of setting.

Edit: To answer your original question, everything effects the way you think. Everything is what you think, and you are your thoughts. Porn does not effect my thinking in a negative way.

Ok prove it's wrong. Give me valid scientific proof not some ramblings of a psychopath.

Yes, of course porn changes mentality. It shows unrealistic body types when in terms of society in general.
Although it gave me a few tips and pointers, won't lie.

I myself, when i was a teen looked at women as objects only, i was immature but apart of that majority of the time is age and hormones raging inside but as you get older you soon will realize yes as males naturally we will look at women features a$$, b00bs, etc. But as we age we look past that (majority of us) for the most part and once getting to know someone we truly like spending time with, connect with, that habit persay becomes obsolete.
