hey guys I am talking to someone currently on aim who wants to trade with me but he cant provide me proof that he is legit and he wants me to go first. he tells me that he is a member of a private forum and nobody is allowed to know about it. he then tells me that the admin will ban him if anyone knows about the private forum he is on.

I just wanna know if such a thing exists? I mean is there really an admin that hates it if people knew about their site? and is there really an admin that will ban its own users for getting more traffic and members to their website?

I will post pics of this funny aim convo later but I wanna know if such a site exists. I seriously doubt that there are admins out there that dont want more people and more activity on their website

Its exists. But its not really like that. Its more so invite only or something like that. Either way chances are he is a scammer. If you go first with someone like that than you are just asking to be scammed.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I have heard of private forums where its invite only to sign up on the site but I have never in my life heard of one where the admins ban their own users the moment a guess comes on the website. it all seems very skechy to me. I had a feeling that this guy was trolling me.

everything he is telling me is not adding up at all. its a good thing u r around philly or I may have walked into a scam

When you feel like the trade is too good to be true or if a trade feels sketchy or if a trade is getting rushed its almost always a scam. And no problem man. Thats what I am here for.

I wouldn't trust the guy because he is probably a scammer. If he tells you to go first then u pretty much know that he is going to take your money and not give you your part od the deal

thanks broski.I would have no problem going first to u if we ever needed to trade. he wont teamviewer the site with me or even give me the aim of some users that he has traded with in the past. everything was very skechy with him.

also u might want to fix this section. it says maketplace discussion instead of marketplace discussion

Like Philly said, there are sites like that. But they aren't too strict about other people knowing about it. Most likely the guys a scammer.

He is most likely a scammer, like Philly said, but you never know. But if i were you i wouldnt do it.
