When you first login into runescape, look at the chat box at the bottom, does it say your username? Mine appears to be blank. Does it happen to you too?

It sometimes doesn't have the username box i have seen that before just reload it.

Yeah, this happens to me all the time. I need to press the 'space' button to fix it ..

Yes it appears to be blank but then I minimize it and then maximize which usually solves the problem for me.
