How much do high quality .com's go for? Lets say the domain " love.com ", for example. How much could it sell for?

Love.com could go anywhere in the 20k-100k range. Just depends how much you list it for, and who sees it, and of course who wants it. The best thing to do when selling domains is never settle on a low price, or be in a rush to sale. Take your time, and reject low offers. The longer you wait, the more of a a chance someone will come and make a high offer. From what I noticed anyways.

People do this kind of thing everyday, and do it for a living. You just have to be lucky, and know alot of words. And of course be at the right place at the right time.

All I can say is that they sell for WAY too fucking much. Nerds at home have nothing better to do with their money other than spend $60k on a domain like wolfpack.com which is going for $60k right now >.>
