Donating and Helping Others in Need is Good or Bad Habit.

People say that I always donate my money to some charity or other or always give wat other people ask. For ex. If my frens ask me to lend money or throw party I give it without any objection.

Some of my friends always tells me why are you wasting money like this.
In reply I say to them that I doing some good deeds and helping others is not a waste or bad thing.

Wat do u think guys. Should I stop or continue this?

No they are wrong donating and helping other is a good habit. But dont indulge yourself in this otw you may get ruined

Donating and helping the people who are in need is always a good thing and I think any body capable of doing so must do such gesture as this is one of the way to express our humanity towards the mankind! Thanks !

thats right ak nobody can do that thing ;like donating money for no cause and even everybody cant do such kind of thing cause everybody donot waste money like that.

Well it depends. You can donate to the less fortunate and in charities but if donating means lending money to friends and throwing parties for them every time they ask for it I think you are being abused. Friendship is sharing that's right but it should also be a "give and take" kind of relationship.One more thing there is a saying about "teaching a man to fish instead of always giving him the fish". If they are really your friends then they won't abuse your kindness.

It's up to you if you want to continue such kind of treatment with your friends.
But I can say that you can lessen and start saving money.
unless you have enough extra money to spend for all the parties with them.
Or maybe your friends are only taking advantage of your kindness you never knew.

sometimes its good sometimes its bad but you should know the reason and fact if it is really nessersary then you must need to give the donation otherwise i will say not to give because lot of people scam by saying donate for that etc etc

I think it is always a good thing helping others. I do help my friends a lot and the do the same for me too!!
And I have donated a few times to the charity too by giving money, or donating my old stuffs or the clothes that don't fit anymore.
I think it's always good to help others if you can. SO yes it is god that you help your friends. And also, a good deed is never forgotten. It comes back in many folds :Smile:

Donating and helping other is a good gesture that everybody should practice. But in helping others, we must think of a way that they should not be dependent on our help alone. We have to make sure that after we help them, they should be able to stand on their own and avoid being too dependent on other's help. If a person is financially broke, then I think what we should give them is referral for a job so they could start anew.
