I live in California and i'm 16 trying to get my learners permit for driving. I've skimmed through the DMV booklet about 2 times and took many practice tests online. I know how to drive on the street but i want to know how difficult the test was for you? Any tips?

Easy af. I only missed one. Just go online and take the practice tests. That's what I mainly did and learned off of that. No booklet or nothing. Good luck!

19 and took my test twice. Don't have my L's yet.
Twice due to my temps expiring, I aced the maneuverability both times completely parallel to the cones both times. First time for the driving portion I was 3 minutes away from the building and this dude thought I was gonna cut him off so I almost got into an accident, 0 points to I believe 32. Second time I was still tripping on acid from the night before and almost passed. It's honestly not hard. Just be sure you almost break your neck looking both ways, whip turns, and stay the speed limit, not below. That's what they docked me for.

@Julian oh you're cool haha, I was extra confused. Good luck though boss, I'm sure you'll be fine. Both the cops I was with were asses, just act like they aren't even there, it helps.

ok. so I got my permit October 2015 and in w couple of months I'm getting my license.. so, I didn't know and still don't know SHIT regarding the test. all I did is find ALL the answers on the Internet. I got 85% on drug & alcohol and 90% on the permit test itself. but for the permit test time is tight so don't ONLY rely on the Internet 100% of the time, sometiems u gotta take a guess to not waste time looking up the correct answer

@stitches yeah i've skimmed through the booklet a couple times, i think i'll read through the book carefully and continue to take practice tests online. It should be easy.

Its weird. Like i failed my first time but i studied for like 2 days. I got it on my next but the questions arent difficult. The reason people fail is because they think the questions are based on common sense but its the opposite. I got lucky the second time and it was pretty much all road sign besides like 6 but you will do fine. I dont think its was as hard as it seems.

@ice that's what my mom was telling me, they ask you trick questions, that's how many people fail.
