Dynamic IP vs Static IP

Well I've been on the same IP ever since I've been alive, cause my connection has been static, well recently I just called up AT&T today asking them to switch over my Static IP to a Dynamic IP, so I can host on my RGH Trinity whenever it comes.

Well here's a simply question, which one is better?

Tell me what kind you've got, and why you like it or hate it? Thanks

Dynamic IP's are much better. They can change in a variety of different ways. I have a Dynamic & all i have to do to get a new one, is reset my router It's very convenient .

Cus I can allow things what my IP is allowed to do, or not. That isn't working with dynamic .

(Talking about webhosting and shit.. u know, .htaccess lol)

No. But I know some people can. I just have the ability to change my MAC Address.

Dynamic is a lot better than Static especially when it comes to Xbox. If someone ever decides to DDoS you, you can change your IP. That's why I got a dynamic. But I'm always on my VPN when I'm on Xbox now

Dynamic is better for security, if you wanted a static IP for something without the risk you could use something like http://no-ip.org

I'd rather dynamic, Static is what I'm on currently because I get smooth connection to americans and shit, But I'd defo recommend dynamic.
