effect/s of text messaging in your life

for those cellphone users, what do you think is/are the effect of text messaging in your daily life? it has pros and cons i assume..can you mention atleast few of what you have encountered so far?

cellphones are so much in demand, we use them for sms and live telecomumnication. Its part of life and used in every aspect. Its got uses only, no negative aspects, beyond radiation.

text messaging is very helpful when you want to send a message to someone you contact with, because its cheap unlike calling them it cost more and radiation free
