Has anyone of you already seen the anime or read the manga? If so, whats your opinion on it?
I've already watched it about 3 times and just started reading the manga. I think that its one of best animes/mangas out there,
like seriously I usually never cry while watching movies but Elfen Lied made me cry throughout the whole story (Im a 16 year old male ) and even left me kinda depressed for a few days after I finished watching it for the first time.

If you've already watched it please tell me how you felt after finishing it, how you liked it in total and who you think the person at the of the anime was :D

And if you never heard of Elfen Lied before, heres a brief summary of the plot (without spoilers) Hurhur :
Elfen Lied takes place in Kamakura, Japan, focusing on a new strain of the human race, Diclonius, similar to human beings with invisible arms called vectors but different at the genetic level and notable due to physical abnormalities, particularly a pair of short horn-like protrusions. One such Diclonius, Lucy, is the main character of the series: Initially held in a facility built for experimentation, located off the coast of Kamakura, she manages to escape and wreak havoc, but is injured in the process, an event which causes her to develop a secondary, childlike personality known as Nyu.
Lucy is found by two locals, Kohta, who studies at the local university, and his cousin Yuka. They take her in, and become involved with the numerous, often brutal, attempts to recapture her by a Special Assault Team and a number of other Diclonius, who shift frequently from oblivious to murderous.

To be able to enjoy the beauty of the story and the anime itself, you should be able to cope with more or less extrem violence and partitial nudity (loli included)
If you fit these requirements I would definitely recommend you to give it a try.
(The Anime consits of 13 Episodes which are more or less 25 minutes long and are as far as I know all uploaded to youtube)

I love it, it's easily one of my favourites. Sadly it's short and wasn't continued but at the same time I think that adds to it making it some what of a legend. Great story, awesome gore, and a lot of cuteness. It's a perfect anime, I suggest anyone to watch one.

It's really good. I loved the story behind it. However the manga and the anime branch off towards different story-lines towards the end, because when they were making it, they caught up and passed the author.
