Traditionally, most technologies comes from the Western countries (Europe, USA) but NOT anymore. Now Emerging countries want their share and are catching up their technology gap.
For instance, China produces already its own rockets, fast trains, cars and soon commercial aircrafts that will compete Airbus & Boeing. They become the new competitors of Western countries.
But this would not be possible without the transfer of technology. Do you think it's a good news for Western countries?

armarasrar1, yes you're right, China is in the front right now but soon, it will be India and Brazil. In a longer term, i believe Africa will be the next leader amongst the emerging countries.

i think western countries would feel like sick before the developing countries of Asia and soon China is going to make mark in world by their technologies and will surely over power Japan.

yes i agree with your point.some of the countries who were earlier considered as under developed countries and more recently as developing country are posing good competition for the so known developing western countries.even India is one of those countries and am proud to be the part of this country.
