We are all aware that Science and religion contradicts. But for the sake of discusion, how do you believe the world would end? Is it through some scientific happenings (global warming, comet hitting the earth, eart and another planet collides, etc.) or though Biblical writings (pages of The Revelation). What's your opinion about this?

The end of the world will happen according to what has been predicted in the bible. Science may explain or propose a theory on what may happen based on tangible evidences and studies but these were already predestined and has been foretold on the predictions in the bible. The only thing is, the passages in the bible are mostly if not all figurative, thus it really is hard to understand. We don't take the messages in the bible at its face value, it needs to be pondered upon, analyzed and to be meditated unlike what science says.

Well i believe that the world will end by the scientific way. I think you have seen some adverse affects and some unusual activities going in the world. Global warming, change in weatheretc also suggest that the earth will come to and in an scientific way.

For me I can't say that those things would be the reason why Earth would end. Only God knows until when all of us should exist. As we know that God created the Earth with all His well and power and that assured that He should have to take care all of His creatures because according to Bible that Life is a Gift that granted to Us.
This is the only thing we should believe about how are on this Earth.

bible says that there will be signs when the end of time is coming our world will be on its verge of tremendous crisis, anti Christ will reveal himself,a vast distraction will happen due to calamities like earthquake, eruptions, tornadoes, great storm, tidal waves, and there will be an all out war,its all written in revelation.

according to science The sun will slowly expand into a red giant, pushing the Earth farther out into space, but not far enough.
Our home planet will be snagged by the sun's outer atmosphere, gradually plunging to its doom inside the fiery stellar furnace.
"The drag caused by this low-density gas is enough to cause the Earth to drift inwards, and finally to be captured and vaporized by the sun, this will be the end of the earth.

Science knows that the world will be swallowed by the Sun in about 5 billion years, and barring being walloped by a big rock at some point, that's when it's all going to happen.
Whereas religion has predicted the end of the world over and over and over for years, and has been wrong every time. Science is constantly changing, religion stays in the Bronze Age.

I believe science hasn't found an exact date as to when the world will end neither does the bible tell when the exact date is. What the bible said were just signs when the world is about to end and incidentally, there had been cases that would suggest the coming of the day. And science has proven that the earth itself is undergoing destruction. But still, nothing can predict when the day would end and how it's gonna end.

None of both actuelly, u can't forspell stuff like that.
They can't predict a solarflame will come, if the sun errupts a big one, that can actuelly bring the possition of the planet i danger. science can't predict this.
Human population screw the planet even more and more, next week some meteorite can smash in the earth while science nor biblicle predicted this.

We should never forget that at present many countries have more than 50 thousand nuclear weapons. If there is a nuclear war, our world and civilization might be destroyed.

First of all science doesn’t contradicts with religion. But a religion that doesn’t have its true shape anymore contradicts with science.

Secondly, the 2012 is nothing but a nonsense thing brought in discussions, by those who are inspired by the movie 2012. The end day is not yet confirmed. And the signs we have now aren’t the complete signs. There are so many things that have to happen.

until now, i'm really confused where to believe regarding the end of the world. i'm a religious person and i think that it will depend on the writings based on the bible. however, i love science and universe. i love to watch several episodes in HIstory Channel regarding the universe and the end of the world. it maybe caused by natural disasters. anyway, we must really enjoy life to the fullest. i wish we could live more here on earth and everything would turn out fine :Devil::Devil:
