I'm a bit skeptical about any "End of the world" theories. Some do get me thinking, but, at the end of the day I usually don't believe them.

I don't see any current issue that would provoke the thought of the world coming to an end. Global warming is the only variable that I'd see fit to "end the world". Even with that, I'd most likely be long gone off of the face of this planet by the time anything significant had taken place.

Just wanted to know members opinions because your opinion will vary whether you support science or religion

I am extremely skeptical about the existence of a "God", or almighty being. Therefore, I reside as agnostic. As much as I'd like to believe, I just can't grasp onto the idea. You could say I'm non-theist, also.

I agree, even if the world does end, I surely do not believe it will be in my lifetime. [:

The world will come to an end eventually. Without a doubt by the time our sun becomes a red giant, our home planet will be entirely devoured by the sun's expansion, however, I wouldn't be surprised if life on Earth went extinct before then. The religious originated signs and warnings of an apocalypse are so blatantly fraudulent, because of the logical fallacies they withhold and obvious origins.

"Signs will appear in the heavens, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from heaven, the sea and the waves will roar and the powers of heaven will be shaken (Matt.24,29; Mark,13,24-25; Luke 21,25-26)."

These supposed signs are just natural events. Shooting stars and comets, eclipses, meteoroids, and tsunamis and earthquakes. When primitive men saws these thing, they theorized why. They were signs of the end of the world was their conclusion, because that's how it appeared to be. This is precisely like how the hypothesis that Earth was flat originated, because it appears that way from their limited observation and knowledge. Most of the other signs such as the seas will turn to blood red most likely originated from folklore and mythology.

I mean the way things are going nuclear warfare might be the end of us all. If not the red giant(sun in it's midlife crysis) will definitely do it in another few million years or so, by then maybe technology can move us all to Mars. lol

I doubt the world will end due to an apocalypse or anything of that sort.
I think it will end when the sun dies, easily it will have to, or when a meteor hits.
There's a million possibilities.
