What are your opinions on euthanasia when it comes to people who are in a very sickly state, say people with cancer, extreme cases of cerebral palsy and other diseases that make you immobile.

I personally think that only doctors who agree to want to do that can be able to do it, and only to people in this kind of state.

I'm an open minded person but I believe that all people should be happy, and if someone's sick to the point of being immobile, they shouldn't have to do something they don't want to do, and can't do.

I believe that everyone has the right to die with dignity - without going though a lot of pain and suffering, and the horrible expense of medical bills when you die anyway.

I agree that everyone deserves the option. If an animal is sick, we put them out of their misery, no questions asked, because we believe that no living creature should suffer when there is a way to end that suffering... I've done it myself with my pets...

So why not extend it to humans? I've worked in the nursing business and tbh getting old + incurably sick terrifies me because people are literally left in agony and depression because there is nothing doctors can legally do to end their pain... It's very inhumane but sadly true...

I agree completely, a lot of the problems people have with it is not because they don't want people to be killed, it's because all doctor's would have to partake in killing these people if they asked, and you don't put that on someones shoulders.

They should make it so doctors that agree with what we say and want to put them out of their misery can agree to doing it for people if need be, not make it so every single person has to do it.

If i was in pain and dying, i would rather slowly slip away into a slumber from euthanasia than have the pain slowly eat me away for the next X amount of years.

The option should be available, in extreme cases with very defined and obeyed rules. Licensed people should have to go through insane curriculum and earn the credentials. They should be limited and highly monitored, and it should be atleast a 4 week process to ensure everyone is on the right page with everything.

Now obviously that could be tweaked a bit ^ but its a general idea of how tight knit everything should be.
