I was just thinking, wouldn't it be insane if there were really no other species out there in the universe other than us and we knew about it? How everything is so setup well for life which would remind us how incredible that is. All of our attitudes and overall perspectives on other people, ourselves, and what we experience would be affected for the better that is in my opinion.
This is what I came across today; it was an article on Yahoo! about a ball of fire that was seen over San Francisco only a few hours after the infamous meteor strike in Russia.

All of what I'm going to talk with you now about is if Extraterrestrials existed.
Could it be possible, aliens of some sort were that ball of fire that came to see what happened after the event? That's something my friend and I were discussing earlier, makes total sense to me, but there is no actual further proof that it is them. Since this occurred hours after the strike, I'm also thinking if that were to have been aliens, they might be closer than we speculate. You could argue that would be because of their much more advanced technology, but I don't see it that way. Space time is very long, which is why our time from Earth to the Moon was 3 days. Do you really think they'd be able to travel that quickly even with the tools they may have?
My overall viewpoint on whether or not they do exist. I see it as, you'd be foolish to not believe they were here just in this galaxy. I'm not trying to offend anybody and wouldn't laugh at you of course if this wasn't your take, but I'm just saying hypothetically to none of you.
Most of us do know this, but there are trillions of galaxies and in those galaxies are planets. Life could have sprang up in so many directions so many times after or before ours did. How well the said conditions and what the species would be like in those places would be is obviously another story, but in some way there has to be other life.
I am very willing to talk about this with anyone else.
