Extraterrestrial talk.

I was just thinking, wouldn't it be insane if there were really no other species out there in the universe other than us and we knew about it? How everything is so setup well for life which would remind us how incredible that is. All of our attitudes and overall perspectives on other people, ourselves, and what we experience would be affected for the better that is in my opinion.

This is what I came across today; it was an article on Yahoo! about a ball of fire that was seen over San Francisco only a few hours after the infamous meteor strike in Russia.

http://news.yahoo.com/bright-streak-light-reported-over-calif-155742051.html

All of what I'm going to talk with you now about is if Extraterrestrials existed.

Could it be possible, aliens of some sort were that ball of fire that came to see what happened after the event? That's something my friend and I were discussing earlier, makes total sense to me, but there is no actual further proof that it is them. Since this occurred hours after the strike, I'm also thinking if that were to have been aliens, they might be closer than we speculate. You could argue that would be because of their much more advanced technology, but I don't see it that way. Space time is very long, which is why our time from Earth to the Moon was 3 days. Do you really think they'd be able to travel that quickly even with the tools they may have?

My overall viewpoint on whether or not they do exist. I see it as, you'd be foolish to not believe they were here just in this galaxy. I'm not trying to offend anybody and wouldn't laugh at you of course if this wasn't your take, but I'm just saying hypothetically to none of you.

Most of us do know this, but there are trillions of galaxies and in those galaxies are planets. Life could have sprang up in so many directions so many times after or before ours did. How well the said conditions and what the species would be like in those places would be is obviously another story, but in some way there has to be other life.

I am very willing to talk about this with anyone else.

RE: Extraterrestrial life talk.

I'm not trying to sound like a douchebag, but to be reasonable I doubt aliens would even care about us in the first place, second of all, I'm pretty sure if they could create UFO's that could travel the galaxy they would already know what the effect of a small meteorite striking earth would be.

You would just have given yourself the credit by saying that.

Also, I brought it up. We were on join.me and I found the article, you'd never think of something like this, but nice try. :p

I also think the scientists who try to disprove this are just trying too hard to look intelligent while wanting to get money out of doing it.

There exists life outside earth/in space, but it's not some stupid government hiding it from us (really, they couldn't hide watergate and so much other shit... You think they could hide aliens?) And it's not very intellectual probably, maybe animal Intelligence.

perhaps.. most scientists refer to biblical stories if you hear closely and ever read the bible.. This vast universe has many tricks up its sleeve. sadly we will never know what's out there.. our lives are too short

There is life out there, maybe not intelligent life, but I do not have a doubt in my mind that there isn't some type of life(Was that a double negative? Whatever.). They're most likely several light years away from us. And if they are, they're most likely not more advanced than us since we haven't came in contact yet.

I don't think the government is keeping the truth about extraterrestrial life away from us. Why would they? They have no valid motive from what I can think of. I might be wrong, but I can't think of one.

They are because you know the minute we all find out everyone will just go haywire. I'm sure with the technology that's kept from us, they've probably seen them a countless amount of times up close, maybe even spoke with them before behind our backs. Just look at Area 51, that's one of the only places we know they are hiding things when there have to be so many more.

And the Government is definitely hiding something at Are 51 because it is maximum security and Aircraft flying over it is instantly shot out of the sky. One thing that interests me is the Bermuda Triangle.

Ofc they fucking exist, it's the matter of where. There is a mathematical equation the works out the percentage that aliens exist I will edit this when I find it.
EDIT: found it, it is called the "Drake Equation"

Why does everybody think Area 51 has aliens ?

It's dumbasses like yall who make the government happy that they can use a placebo base and keep everything else hidden. Whether its aliens or not

I doubt people would go 'haywire'. I would be happy if they told us we weren't alone. The belief that people will go haywire is just a stereotype created by the filming industries and media.

Don't 'laugh' at my beliefs. Grow up and act mature.

I doubt they hide extraterrestrial life or anything dealing with extraterrestrials at area 51, people just speculate that since it's a top secret facility. Even if they did, they would keep it at a much more secure area. If they're hiding extraterrestrial life at Area 51, then the government are complete retards. Why would the government hide extraterrestrial life at where it's been popularly believed to be hidden for a long time? That's just silly.

The Bermuda Triangle probably has aircrafts crashing and disappearing due to the Earth's magnetic field. I don't believe aliens are associated with it at all.

Yeah, it's absolutely absurd to think we're alone. I mean come on, Space is so vast that really in my mind there is no way were alone.

That is what an alien would be considered, something out of the ordinary or realm. I'm not necessarily referring to the classic looking ones.
