I'm not a specialist by any means but look at the tag and look who it was offered to. There isn't even a gamerpicture. He asked because he had a question. If you don't have an answer for him move on about your business. I'm so tired of seeing people bitch and question others just to be a pain in the ass. He's new I think you can cut him a little slack

Yes, it's similar to photoshop. Ask for a friend request before you do the deal, do not go first like an idiot. I'm highly confident whoever you're dealing with is trying to scam you.

Use chrome and inspect element...
 
On the browser Google Chrome, they have a feature called "Inspect Element." You right click on any text, click on Inspect Element, then you can change the text to anything you want.

Before going through deals for gamertags, always ask for a friend request.
