Favorite Moments On Runescape?

I have a few,

the first one was when I used to pick flax all day and I would always try talking to the gold farmers and they would never respond to me.
second is when me and all my irl friends would all talk on the phone at the same time and explore runescape, we where in 4th grade and we called this a "3 way" when we called one another on the phone. Just now did I realized how fucked up that is,

Third is when I just spent like 2 weeks picking flax and went into the wildy with all my gear, my granite rune plate legs rune full helm and g maul. I saw what I thought was a noob my level so I started attacking him and he started throwing blocks of ice at me as I explained it to my friends. I died and didn't go in the wildy for a year.

Another good moment was when I was first starting and I had iron and steel legs, I didn't know which was more powerful so I sat there asking people for a good 2 hours and finally someone told me iron to get me to shut up. I found out a week later he lied.

I used to kill cows and goblins for profit and I remember when I got my first 10k. The cash stack looked so big :grin:

some of my favorite memories in runescape always have to do with friends and bossing. specially when u tease somes gonna die and it seems like jagex responds and takes 1 of ur friends out lol

I think getting full rune gear and a whip was my fondes moment!
Making my first mil was a good time to...

Also, finishing DT/MM when i was a pure with 1 def.

Definently when i reached 70 attack. I was so stoked when i could finally wield the whip. (Now i havent wielded one in a few months), but i still have myfirst whip in the bank!

Another is when i got lured for the first time. I was pissed off, i didn't play the game for a week.

When i made my clan was another good one. I recently left it because i don't have time to tend to anymore (happiest and saddest moment).

Now that I think about it, getting 70 attack and using all my money (2.6m) at the time to buy a whip, was a great moment for me too.

See I had this horrible experince, I always thought rune with whip and helm of netroiz looked cool, the week before I got a whip the new gfx came out which ruined it.

Agreed, the old rune armour back in 05, looked very cool. I don't like how they changed it

I remember logging on to Runescape from addicting games...don't think you can do that anymore ...might be wrong who knows.
I remember freaking out when my friend found out cowhides were great money(100gp each I think) and he got 100k.
I remember going into the wild in full mithril and getting lured by a fire bolt mager in lvl 7 wild, I cried afterwards, I was 8 or so...hehe
I remember becoming a member and begging people for members items, just so i could say i had a member item, I got a ring of recoil...one of my best moments actually.
I remember doing the ice plateau lure with my brother and cousins, we never hit it big, but we once got 10m which was the most amazing thing for us.
I'd say it went down from there, everyone quit and Jagex started ruining the game, taking out wild and everything after that. I've never enjoyed the game as much as when I first played.

i agree that some of the gfx updates killed what somethings looked like in the game.

My favorite moments on Runescape are long gone. It was going to Bandos with my group of friends and always getting at least one good drop a trip. This was before Corporeal Beast came out and when Bandos hilt was around 28m+ I think.

But it didn't last long...
I was super excited about it and went to the wild, some dude asked me "hey team?" and I said yes and followed him. Then like 5 guys attacked me and died. Lost everything, didn't even had that armor for 15 minutes.

Haha, I had something like this happen to me. I had finally bought full adamant armour and I had rune long sword with it. I went to wildy to show it off and I ended up dying and losing a lot of it. This was back in 2003 when I was still a major "noob". lol
