What is your favorite part of Christmas?
A lot of people will say gifts, which to be honest is probably the biggest reason this holiday stuck. Don't pretend it isn't, because most holidays that are around involve buying people stuff and receiving stuff.

Valentines - Chocolates, Flowers, etc.
Easter - Kids get chocolates
Halloween - Scary Films for Adults, Free Candy for Kids
Christmas - Spending Hundreds of Dollars

Stores use these holidays to make a large amount of money in a short amount of time. Spread the cheer, and spend your money!
Explanation over. Thanks!

Personally my favorite part of Christmas Day is seeing my younger siblings opening their gifts, and believing that a fat man breaks into our house to give them stuff for no gain. (If you are under 13 and I spoiled the secret of Santa, I'm not sorry.) I just love seeing the joy on their faces when they see the tree with all of the presents around it. Their happiness genuinely makes me feel good. In all honesty I don't even really ask for things anymore. All I asked for this year was socks, or money. I don't expect a lot for myself around this time, even though I used to as a kid. (We all did, don't white knight and say you didn't.)

I like the atmosphere around Christmas, the decorations in stores and on homes, the buildup of the Christmas hype, the Christmas music, I love it all. I'm very much so into the Christmas spirit every year. I love Christmas movies, and I love the idea of Santa. I don't believe anymore since he is very obviously not real, but it's still fun to pretend, especially for my siblings. When they see me "still believing" they ignore whatever they hear from their elementary school friends and they too believe. It's cute. I love kids mentality around Christmas, and to be honest I think it is kind of cute to see them being kinda greedy this time of year.

Visiting family is another reason I love the holiday season. I love seeing my grandparents and various other relatives around the holidays.

If you don't celebrate Christmas, than I wish you a Happy Holidays, and I hope you enjoy whatever festivities you participate in.

Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year to all!

Well if I say gifts is my favorite part I'll have a bunch of you nerds hating on me. It doesn't mean I don't like spending time with my family, that's always great.

Not true! Gifts are a big part of the holiday, no reason not to be excited for them!

My favorite part of Christmas is being able to spend time with my family and enjoy tons of food
sadly this year I'm spending Christmas alone so it's a little different without the family and such.

I know that it's commercialized crap and I know that shops promote it because they know Christians fall for that shit to buy weird shit and then normal folks buy presents to be accepted in society.. but honestly I love it, I love seeing peoples faces when you give them something, it's an excuse to give and receive with no proper context.

I love buying my girlfriend items, it's cute. I also like how the family comes together and everyones so cheery. They see Christmas as an excuse to fix the past with people they've had problems with, it's insane what a day like every other day can do.. based from the ''Birth of Christ'' yet even non-believers get brought together without knowing the proper meaning of the day, I mean I don't believe in god.. I just like happy people.
