You evidently have no true pride in any sort of hardcore genre, if you stoop so low, as to call it "screamo". That is just a generalization for a vast array of hardcore genre's.

Where I live hardcore music is classed as a completely different thing to the music listed in this thread, however it is still kinda the same just the screams are more manly. So yeah, I guess I like hardcore music/ screamo. My favourites would be Emmure, Brutality Will Prevail and Last Witness.

Nah seriously, everybody calls it hardcore where I live, and they even have shows with these bands playing called 'help the hardcore movement' and shit because hardly anybody listens to it anymore.
