Feedback/Suggestion on Contests

Well first off, this thread isn't going to be some childish call-out where I search over the site and tell you who is posting too much or making too many threads. This is just my feedback on all the stupid 'drama' these silly little contests cause.

People honestly just need to lighten up. Like seriously, you guys are in competition to win Runescape gold for whoever gets the most points for posting. But nearly everyone, with some exceptions, goes around acting like this is a contest to win $5,000. There's people making threads about people they think post too much during competitions. It is a contest that the 1st prize totals out to be worth like $50. Are we all really that poor and desperate to have to run around and slap our keyboards like two year olds complaining about who posts what where and how much they post?

Now I know this may have turned into more of a rant than feedback but, really, it's Runescape gold, and all of this flaming other people stuff is just childish. Chill out.

I had a suggestion bouncing around in my mind for when we do these type of competitions. It is simple, if another person complains about other people posting to frequently during a competition, reset their points. But that is just what I think.

This is directed at no one specifically, just a wide range of people. :thumbsup:

Agreed. People complain about me and others for posting more than often, even if that's the case, who cares? People choose to post loads let them.

Its not the fact that people post alot during contests. I don't mind that. Its what I see in thoses posts that annoy me. Rule 1 of the forums says "No spam. All posts must be high quality". People will abide by this, until a contest arises. Then you can see the quality in specific users posts completely hit the floor.

It does bring out low quality posts. But during the competition not all posts are low quality.

because people don't sit on the forums all day posting on threads and keep replying to what everyone posts on that thread.
