All of this is to say, any gender equality movement that favorites women and largely ignores men, claims women are weak and inferior to men, or discriminates against other gender equality movements, simply isn't a movement for gender equality.

1: Misogyny. Learn what the word means please. Misogyny is the hate for women not men. Misandry must be the word you're looking for.

2. The reason why women are shown favoritism was because the feminist movement was largely if not completely started by women. From Susan B. Anthony to Beyonce, feminism is a movement mostly fought and advocated for by women. Theyre still oppressed and treated as lesser counterparts around the world and are continuously fighting each day to be equally recognized as the same as men.

3. The reason why men are hated for being men's rights activists is because, quite simply, men are not oppressed for being men. Yes, black men, trans men, bisexual men, gay men, etc. are oppressed. However, most self proclaimed MRAs are straight white males who try and control what women can and can't do which is where we come full circle. Meninists simply aren't and will never be a thing.
