I suggest learning Brazilian Jiu Jutso or some type of ground fighting, than move onto boxing. Where I live their are plenty of MMA and other sorts of training gym's. I don't know about where you live though. It's something that everyone should learn I think.

Good luck and stay dedicated if you go through with it cause it's a bitch :p

Watch never back down man it's inspirational. And fighting is easy, you learn more from actual fights then someone teaching you, it might come naturally.

I'm not gonna get in actual fights though and I typically learn better with an instructor in everything I do.

Growing up I wasn't all into that but trust me, actual experience will benefit you more than any trainer. Just fight a friend, not aggresively and all but it'll adjust your reflexes and all.

Ah idk, I don't wanna look like a fool in front of my friend because I am strong and athletic and fit, but I have never really fought before lol

Just focus on your body. Anything can help in a fight but watch that movie man. We've never talked but trust me you'll like it. Just watch fights and learn. I remember seeing a fight where a kid looked pretty scared, he just kicked the kick in the shin quickly, the kid looked straight down at his shin, next thing he sees is a right hook which put him DOWN. Haha

Like I said experience is best, but watching fighters is good too. You just pick up small tricks that could be your key in victory.
Oh alright, I thought you meant you were gonna like recommend good people to fight lmao

I did Kickboxing for a year, BJJ for 3 years, and Muay Thai almost my whole life.

Muay Thai is by far the most fun, and in my opinion the best.

If you are serious, consider Muay Thai, or BJJ. If you are looking to just defend yourself, learn MT. If you're looking to fight competitively, start BJJ.

Just to let you know it is never to late to start fighting, most MMA fighters start at around 15-18. :D

Ok man look, I can throw my hands like non other, want to know how I learned to fuck shit up??
GETTING INTO FIGHTS... You can have all the training in the world, and never fought before, you would still get your ass whooped.

The best way to learn how to fight, IS TO FIGHT.
I am looking into boxing for the extra knowledge, but all ready know how to throw down when it comes time to.

Fighting is divided pretty easily

Street: Honestly just instincts, if you lift and aren't a bitch learning to street fight is really easy.

Controlled: MMA, Jiu Jitsu, this is the more advanced more fun way of fighting Id suggest learning this as it builds character and not an assault charge.
