Fighting

I train sometimes with Eddie Chambers when I go to Philly

He's a cool ass dude and he is a great teacher

I did boxing all through out high school and 8 months of brazilian jui jitsu when I was a personal trainer in 08. If you decide to do any form of martial arts or boxing, do it for the right reasons. Not to be the douchebag that starts getting cocky and messing with people just because you know how to defend yourself. Do it so can defend yourself when need be.

Matt Hughes trains down where I live too bad he's a pussy.

Matt Hughes Is a fucking BEAST bro lol *at least when he was in his prime) I still would not fuck with him lol.

You do not need to lift to street fight dude lol I am 150 pounds and do not work out and I have still yet to get my ass whooped in a street fight (one time, but it was 5 on 1 and that shit was still a good fight lol)

Ik I was kidding I got his signature at a hunting festival lol. He also trains down here locally.

Damn you're small Slacker haha
But yeah lifting doesn't matter, it adds a little strength but not much unless you lift constantly

It's all about timing and the target

If you bop someone on the outside edge of their chin then you will win the fight if you rush them after you connected the chin shot

Counter punches are great because the person isn't expecting it do even a light punch will daze them or make them think twice about throwing wildly again

Once you that fear into someone they're done

1. You always want to keep your right foot back (if you are right handed) and always circle to your right (if other guy is right handed) this movement prevents some one from planting there right foot to transfer power (or energy) to throw a hard ass hit.

2. Never fully close your hand into a fist til you are mid swing / jab so the bones / tenants do not get fucked up. I try to always tape my hand if I know I am getting into a fight, but most of the time its just random lol.

3. Keep your left hand constantly moving in from of you (small circular movements) this distracts your opponent (even if they don't know it) or at least delays there response time.

4. Never bend over / turn your back to them to avoid a punch (like dont duck it unless it is 100% needed) this makes you a big ass bulls eye and easy to grab.

More pointers if interested

I'm more of a plodder instead of a mover
I get hit more not moving as much but I get more power in my punches

I usually just use my left hand to jab to open up the persons guard an hit em with a combo once they open up

bobbing and weaving is for boxing, if you do that in a street fight you will get fucked up if the other dude knows how to fight in the slightest

I do not do it, but for some one that is new to fighting that would be there best bet. When I fight, I tend to keep my hands down by my hips with my hands in fist (to make the other guy think I am dumb and do not know how to fight). And do not move much my self maybe right to left. And when we throw a few hits at each other, I tend to know a tell about when he is throwing big and when I see that tell, I side step him and level his ass with a right hook to the left side of his face lol

Punch in the temple......Lmfao..
If you pack a hard punch... one punch to the temple and they are out

I'm a Black Belt in Karate, lol. Karate is a load of shit - it's about Katas and combinations.
I would suggest doing KickBoxing if you just want to learn how to fight, I used to have to fight KickBoxers and they were a lot better than anyone that does Karate.

it's good knowing how to fight because know one will mess with you haha

I will agree to this. Where i come from that's the only choice we have.
