There's this software, FireFox launched.
Firesheep is an extension for the Firefox web browser. The extension uses a packet sniffer to intercept unencrypted cookies from certain websites (such as Facebook and Twitter) as the cookies are transmitted over networks, exploiting session hijacking vulnerabilities

To protect your Facebook account, basically, don't use Public WiFi.

Lool I don't think this is really necessary...

Just be smart and think twice before logging on a cyber cafe or someone's house

I'm not sure if there is an Opera Plugin for this Popular101.
To protect you guys can also use Fire-Shepherd, what this basically do is send multiple files to the WiFi you connect to, that would confuse the Computer and nothing would be recognized. Works sometimes.

Firefox didn't release it; a user made an add-on for Firefox that basically sniffs cookies over an unsecured network connection. It can then use those cookies to log into someone else's account.
