Flappy Bird [Game]

So if some of you don't know the creator of the most popular game in 2014, Flappy Bird deleted the app from the app store. Now this was due to all the bad publicity such as people killing others over the game, divorces, and death threats to the creator. Now personally I don't think this game should have been removed due to these things. An example that I can give you with something like Flappy Bird is the book the Catcher in the Rye. This book has "inspired" a bunch of murders over the world. For example the man that killed John Lennon said he did it because of this book. I would love to hear some personal opinions on the game as well as wether you think he should have kept the game up or removed it.

Remember when people thought video games like GTA and COD were the cause of gun violence? xD Now a simple game like Flappy Bird is out and people are going crazy lol.

Honestly its not the creator's fault that a few mentally handicapped people had issues with the game that ultimately ended their life.

But really the murder/death(s) was just speculation I haven't really seen real proof this happened.

As far at the removal of the game, creator was hit too fast with fame and hate, overwhelmed the poor fella and he wanted to show the world he could care less, suck my dick, fuck you none the less. Gave up his career to make that point to the dickmouths causing shit.

That's absurd to say Flappy Bird is the reason behind divorces, murders and death threats. I personally think the game isn't the reason, it's the people themselves that lack or have an extra chromosome. The game has nothing to do with it. If you don't like it, or it pisses you off, delete it. Simple as that.

What's crazy is how once it got removed a bunch of copies were released. If you ask me I think the creator of flappy bird messed up. At 50k a day, I would endure whatever he had too which I doubt was bad. It wasn't anything legally related so he's just giving money out to these developers who leach off his creation

He took it down because it's a fad just like every other viral thing. He knew that the money from it would dry up eventually, so he cashed in by increasing downloads massively in the app's last day. why do you think he tweeted a day in advance? he probably made as much money that day as he did in the apps overall lifetime.

I remember my parents used to not let me play any games with killing or violence because they thought id end up trying to reenact what i can do in the games. I disagree with him taking it down because apps like snap chat have had problems as well but its also extremely popular.

I'm more tha sure that he just removed it because he got threatened. I don't think he'd remove it otherwise since he was becoming the richest man in the world...
