Hi everyone,

I am wondering what is your opinion on this.
Everyone else in the world calls soccer football.
But the US: Nah, we call it soccer.

It's foot-ball.
American football is played with hands & feet.
Which is stupid.

What is your opinion?

What exactly are you asking, man?
I think he is trying to ask us why do we(Americans) call it Soccer instead of Football.

This. Indeed I am wondering what about your opinions about it.

I'd have to say it's just how we say things. For example; people in the UK call shopping carts trollies or they call a TV a tele (same thing for a phone). They call French fries chips and they call potato chips fries.

lol I agree though every country has dumb ways of saying stuff. Like the UK calls cotton candy 'candy floss' and calls a piece of bacon a 'rasher.'

You know what they're talking about, so who cares. Everyone has their own different ways of saying or doing things.

If you kick a ball with your foot it only makes sense to call it "foot-ball". I dunno why the good ol' USA couldn't just keep it that way.
