Hi all

First I want to say that I don't hate or flame or discrimate any religion, because I got much friends which religions who are christian or muslim.

I just got a few questions to you guys;

#1 Christians & Muslims:
How u know the Koran or Bible, isn't just made by normal people ?
I know the stories that the profets gave it but how u know that so sure?

#2 Chrisitans:
Why you call your god "God" ?

#3. Muslims:
Why your God is called "Allah" and not God ?
Cause much time I hear muslims say that Allah and God is the same, but why call him diffrent ?

#4 Christians & Muslims:
Why you know there is a God/Allah?
Not "believe" I ask Know.

#5 Muslims:
Why people outside America
I am from Bosnia btw
who are muslims, show hate against Americans and people who don't believe in Allah, like "They will burn".

#6 To everyone:
Which religion you believe:

the bible is written by many people, not just one. It is like many short stories put into one.

Allah is Arabic word for God, i believe. Not positive though

Why you know there is a God/Allah?
Not "believe" I ask Know.

There had to be something to create the world, nothing is infinite.

If you don't believe in god, you go to hell and burn. Simple, just like the Christian religion.

#5Yeah, but people in europe and Asia also don't believe, and they don't mention them.

I am not a die hard Catholic or whatever.. so I might answer the question in a different perspective..

#1 Christians & Muslims:
How u know the Koran or Bible, isn't just made by normal people ?
I know the stories that the profets gave it but how u know that so sure?
It was made by the prophets yes.. but now I know that it's just made by normal people, rather modified, and by those who keep the original texts. It has been changed over the years according to what these people want us to believe, like how women didn't have much to do in the Bible, whereas it was said that in the original writings, women had a lot of roles etc.. but I'm not sure myself.

Why you call your god "God" ?
Well, according to the definition, a God is someone who created the universe and rules it, the supreme being.. Pretty much the same as how Gods in Greek Mythology are considered.

Why your God is called "Allah" and not God ?
Cause much time I hear muslims say that Allah and God is the same, but why call him diffrent ?

Why you know there is a God/Allah?
Not "believe" I ask know.
I question it myself.. I'm born a Roman Catholic but I'm like Agnostic lol.. I know there is one though in some cases of 'miracles' and all that, could be considered luck, but some are plainly too miraculous to be thought that way..

You spelled Prophets wrong. The Bible, if you study it, is very complex and it's always consistent there are no mistakes. Additionally the Bible has been around for such a long time the scripture matches up with the "proven" facts of that time consistently. Of course I could list another 10,000 reasons but without that important factor of faith none of them would really matter. We can't be sure of anything without faith so of course a huge factor of my choice in believing the Bible is because of my Faith in it.

It's what we're taught, it's like calling our mom "Mommy"and people in England saying "Mum". That's the name that was presented to us and taught to us.

It's what they're taught. People in the 1800 called their dad "papa" you probably call your dad "dad". Same thing of course but it's preference thing I guess.

Not "believe" I ask Know.
So many things, I pray and it comes true and that strengthens me. I have dreams sometimes. Reading the Bible and comparing to "facts". Just living everyday in this world and seeing first hand everything it really just makes you know that there is something greater at work and that someone, some greater power is responsible for the universe and galaxy. God created it to me.
