I am helping another member of FK build their own forum. It is kinda hush, not many people know about it (Shout out to Flippy, and Justice, only two people who know besides the Admin himself) and I would like to add a couple of sections. Please list a few sections that you believe a start-up forum needs.

Why is everyone making forums, just a waste of time and money imo.
Nobody is going to leave FK to join a forum with like 5 semi active members.
Best of luck though.

This is totally true.
Cant agree with you any more on this.
I see people daily trying to make a new website because they see how active one is and they fail just saying.
Not trying to be a dick or anything

Gr33d offered to pay for it. You're acting like I asked for it. He wanted it up earlier, so he offered to pay, so why would I refuse?

I would recommend adding the following start-up sections:
  • Introductions
  • Rules/Announcements/Feedback/Questions and Suggestions, etc
  • General Discussion/chit-chat area
  • Gaming/graphics/marketing, etc.

That's all I can recommend right now. As for the last recommendation on the list, you could add that depending on what your website's going to be based around.

If the website is just going to be a general discussion board then you could implement graphical, marketing and other sections listed above.

Good luck with your forum, and I hope it turns out successful!

Try taking a shit ton of existing useless forums out first. Start off very small and grow as the forum grows. You shouldn't have more than 25 forums to start with. Or people that come will just think the site is dead considering you already have unnecessary forums. Regardless good luck especially with no niche.

This isn't for SF. This is different. This forum will have a niche. It will be original ;)
