Most of my forum suggestions happen in the shower. So, anyway I was taking a shower and I thought of this...

What if we made a community project here at FK to make our OWN crypto-currency? HF has omnicoin, so I don't know why we shouldn't have our own.

I'd very much help with development, what do you guys think?

We've already got a koins system in place, we don't need another additional useless currency, lol.

There's no real reason to do this, why not just use BTC like everyone else does?

This could be a great idea.
You buy fks crypto.
It shows up in you're fk account.
No charging back
Philly/narc can name their price for the currency
You buy the crypto off philly and narc and can give it to people to buy items.

This would help with offsite scams as people would want to use this currency instead.

Just an idea tho. Let me know if you think of an addition to this

@Captain put it in really good words. I doubt it will get implemented though.

I suggested this in an Aim chat once; it was shot down.

Crypto currency isn't ever going to catch on.

Have you ever heard of Bitcoin? lol.

Multiple large-scale companies use Bitcoin, that is a crypto currency.

If you consider the underground black market a business then yeah. Legitimate businesses will never accept it as a payment type for many reasons. Some off the top of my head are the fact that it has no actual value. (Meaning someone just assigned a price to it without any backing) and the fact that its too anonymous. Furthermore, someone could just decide tomorrow that bitcoins no longer exist and shut it all down. And with nothing tangible backing it up you'll lose everything. It's just Internet money that little kids like to flaunt. While actual people are sitting back and laughing at how childish you look.

You don't see rich people investing in bitcoin. It's retarded. It's price will just keep plummeting as well. If you want invest in something do as the pros do. E.g gold, silver, real estate, artwork, something with ACTUAL value if you want to see a return. I'll say again, this Internet shit will never catch on.

Nobody even knows who created it. It's honestly the sketchiest thing ever. It was created so police can't track where and when you buy illegal goods. How can you tell me that's a great idea to invest in? You make me laugh.

I'd like to point you to Roger Ver, who made his fortune off btc.

"Why is it my best ideas come to me while taking my morning shower" - Einstein
Your subconscious mind is constantly working but cannot be forced at times to produce. Good ideas need time to incubate.

Anyways, the idea sounds great but I don't think it's necessary since we all can just use bitcoin.
