Yesterday, the Dispute Korner moderator and news publisher @"Cann!bal" was promoted to staff. The announcement of @"Cann!bal"'s promotion was made by fellow staff member @"GrƷƷd".


@Philly recently implemented a new ability for Power+ members. All Power+ members were granted the ability to access their own junked threads. As of now, this capability will be exclusive to solely Power+ members.


The news team is looking for fresh newsmen. We're looking for ambitious and reliable writers to help conduct the ForumKorner News. The current available slots are for World News, Graphics, Media & Music, and Interviews. The sole requirements are that you're active and reliable. If you're interested in applying for a position on the team, private message me.


New Staff: Cann!bal by @"GrƷƷd" - Last night, @"GrƷƷd" broke the news that @"Cann!bal" had been promoted from moderator to staff. The thread received an overwhelming amount of support and kudos. Check out the thread and be sure to congratulate @"Cann!bal".

ForumKorner Buyer's Guide by @Yeti - This thread was great. It was a guide to buying items on ForumKorner. It was complete with a list of middlemen and ways to avoid scams. A lot of effort was put into this thread, and it deserves attention and lots of kudos. It will surely help the newer members avoid being scammed. We would like to thank @Yeti for such a helpful thread.

Weed and Parents by @Jason - One of our staff members created a thread asking about parents and marijuana. Many members took a liking to this thread, and several hilarious stories were shared. If you're looking for a laugh, be sure to check out this thread.

The Type of Nigga Game by @"G⠀⠀⠀" - This thread had me in tears. The point of this forum game is to start your sentence with "@(Insert Username Here) is the type of nigga that..." and make it funny. Here are a few examples. "@Shift is the type of nigga to tell his homies at the end of a phone convo 'no you hang up first.' " This thread is basically all hilarious, so don't miss it.

@"Cann!bal": 'Ey, I'm doing swell.

@Leader: Good to hear that. So, you were just promoted to staff. How long have you been on the site for?

@"Cann!bal": Yeah, I was. I'm really ambitious about this promotion. I joined June of 2012.

@Leader: Your two year anniversary is coming up soon. Anyways, we all know you worked really hard as moderator. How does it feel to finally be staff?

@"Cann!bal": Brilliant. I never imagined myself to make it this far.

@Leader: Well, you have. What's the difference between staff and moderator, for those who don't know?

@"Cann!bal": A moderator is restricted to a certain section, such as Dispute Korner and General Discussion. They're quite restricted and cannot give awards nor assist with reputation disputes. Whilst a staff member's restrictions are quite minimized and can do the aforementioned, along with resetting accounts and more.

@Leader: That makes perfect sense. Anywho, let's talk more about you. What is it that you enjoy the most? What are some of you passions?

@"Cann!bal": I suppose philosophy. Well -- besides philosophy I'm quite fond of gaming, debating and music.

@Leader: Interesting. I assume you're in high school. What are you planning on studying in the future?

@"Cann!bal": Yes, I'm a sophomore in high school. Not to be repetitive, however, as of now, I'm quite confident I'll be pursuing a major in philosophy, alongside with some field of science, most likely biology. Although, that's prone to change.

@Leader: You hold a world record, is that correct?

@"Cann!bal": Yes, I have the highest legitimate kill death ratio on Xbox, of 118.86 on Halo: Reach.

@Leader: That's quite interesting. I never would have guessed that you were into gaming. Well, final question. What do you like most about ForumKorner?

@"Cann!bal": It's comforting and it suits me brilliantly. I have a sophisticated personality and this site reflects is grandly. It's my sanctuary for the internet. Alongside with the diverse and unique atmosphere I find it difficult not to fall in love with this place.



This spring Android tablets will receive Intel's new CPU, which will bring 64-bit computing to Android devices for the first time. Intel's CEO claims that tablets running Google's OS will be soon receiving the Atom-based Bay Trail processor and will be launched into the world of 64-bit computing. These devices are said to hit as early as spring.


A few pictures posted this past week show what seems to be a new Sony phone. The device has all the branding from Sony as well as what seems to be a few other features. The bottom of the phone shows the mic grille is three holes, and they have a lanyard hole on it. Many people claim this could be a new Z1 phone, and are expecting Sony to respond to these claims at MCW.


In 2012 Comcast released their AnyPlay service. This service was a cable box that made Comcast's live TV channels into internet streams so mobile users could watch from their device. They are now getting rid of this service in hopes of pushing people towards Xfinity TV Go, and other new services that will be possibly added later this year. The mobile app for AnyPlay will be removed from stores after March 31st.


Amazon is currently working on an idea which involves shipping an item to a specific area before it gets ordered. This idea is called "anticipatory shipping" and it will be used to reduce package transit times. As stated, Amazon will send a package out to a specific geographical location. After that they wait and if a customer orders an item matching the package, it is redirected to their home. There is no word on when this will be rolled out as of yet.

It's 100, 250, 500, 750, 1000, 2000, 3000, etc. There are no negatives.

If it wasn't for Philly, I'd be at +500 right now so u can include that then. Whichever floats your boat.

We were rather late, but it was worth it. Not much we could cover though.

Also the title is misleading, it was the 6th already here in Europe. You should post it on the morning US time or just don't include the date at all. Or even better, since you can't get the facts right, just stop making these.
