For those that use a Mac, give the time to look at what Poison has to say, the information may be of use in the future.
How are YOU making money? by @illegal - Being dominantly a market based forum, it is likely that every user has their own method of income. In this thread, the question is raised - how? There are some astounding (and not so astounding) numbers being boasted. Regardless of whether you're comfortable to share your monthly digits, feel free to stop by illegal's thread and have a look.
Who are your favorite FK members? by @Jamil - Everybody has a favorite, sometimes more than just one. If you have a special someone (or someones), and you'd like to share it with the rest of the forum, drop down to Jamil's thread and tag them!

@Michael: Is there anything you'd like to say before we get started with the interview?
@Philly: Thanks for taking the time to interview me, I would like to first say sorry to everyone that I have been overtly a prick to recently. My life has been far from easy for me in the past couple of months, and guaranteed my hardest times to date. In all honesty it seems to be doing nothing but getting worse and worse for me, I am not one to complain, and I will get though everything that is going on. I just wanted to formally say sorry, and that I truly don't mean it sometimes.
@Michael: I hope you realize we're all here for you, Philly! What were your expectations when creating FK?
@Philly: Well I knew it would get big from the start, I just didn't know how long it would take. I am a very dedicated individual in general, and when I do/start/say something I follow threw with it 110%. I however did not expect the negative aspects occurring what so ever, which has been an absolute insane ride for me.
@Michael: Besides working on FK and all, what would you say are your favourite hobbies in real life?
@Philly: At this particular time I am really into shooting pool, particularly 8 ball, however I will play any billiards game variation. Other then that I am just your typical person, I love hanging out with my family, and friends, and having a good time.
@Michael: Are there going to be any major changes to FK soon? Give us a little sneak-peak if you can!
@Philly: I have some absolute crazy plans in the near future I wont get into any specifics at this time, but within the next few months there should be some great changes here on FK. However right now I will say one thing. There is a new upgrade group that will be added soon. It will cost ten dollars per month. More details about this will soon arise.
@Michael: What do you enjoy doing most on the internet, and real life?
@Philly: This is a pretty deep question imo, but both online, and offline I strive to help others as much as possible.
@Michael: A bit personal now. What are your favourite foods and can you cook at all?
@Philly: I am all for just about anything, but I would say my absolute favorites would have to be Steak, Crab, Lobster, and probably Salad(lol I know I will get flicked shit for this, but it is true.). Also I actually have several college credits for culinary arts, and can cook basically anything while enjoying it.
@Michael: Do you follow any sports? If so, what teams, and why?
@Philly: To be completely honest with you I am not big on sports, I like watching all the MMA/Boxing fights, and of course I sometimes watch my states teams such as for me Ducks, Beavers, Blazers.
@Michael: Been a pleasure to have you here, mate! Any last words?
@Philly: Thank you everyone that is a member of the site, all the support over the years has been greatly appreciated.
Stephen Colbert to replace David Letterman as host of ‘The Late Show’
This past Thursday, CBS officially announced that Stephen Colbert would be replacing David Letterman as the host of ‘The Late Show’. In fact, Letterman announced his retirement from the show just a week before, after hosting the show for over 20 years. It was also announced that Colbert, host of Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report” since 2005, had signed a five-year contract with the network. After Letterman’s announcement of retirement on April 3, Colbert’s name quickly began circulating as a possible replacement as it had been for years. Colbert was jubilant and whimsical in a new release on Thursday, saying “Simply being a guest on David Letterman’s show has been a highlight of my career. I never dreamed that I would follow in his footsteps, though everyone in late night follows Dave’s lead. I’m thrilled and grateful that CBS chose me. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go grind a gap in my front teeth.”Blood Moon
The so-called “blood moon” left onlookers mesmerized early Tuesday morning while crossing the Earth’s shadow. Between the hours of 2—4:30 a.m. EST, many were able to catch a great view of the moon during different phases as it took on a unique red hue. The extremely rare chance to view the total lunar eclipse lured many to the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, California, where families spread out around the grass to look on through dozens of different telescopes. Gene Ireland, a middle school astronomy teacher, described it by saying “It’s energizing. Look around. Everybody is here to see something rare and live.” Four blood moons, including this one, are expected to occur at roughly six-month intervals on April 15, 2014, October 8, 2014, April 4, 2015, and September 28, 2015. If anyone would like to look at some amazing shots of Tuesday morning's blood moon, be sure to check out @"Sector"'s thread, which can be found here.Twitter Airline 'Hoax' Gone Terribly Wrong
This past Monday, police arrested a 14-year-old Dutch girl after she sent out a flag-raising tweet to American Airlines. The Twitter handle @QueenDemetriax_ belonged to a girl who went by the name of Sarah, who tweeted "@AmericanAir hello my name's Ibrahim and I’m from Afghanistan. I'm part of Al Qaida and on June 1st I'm gonna do something really big bye." American Airlines responded shortly after, saying, "@QueenDemetriax_ Sarah, we take these threats very seriously. Your IP address and details will be forwarded to security and the FBI." The girl then responded with a frenzy of panic tweets, writing, "I'm just a girl," and later blaming the incident on a friend. Her account has since been terminated, and the consequences of her actions currently remain unclear. Paul Walker's Brothers Help Complete 'Fast & Furious 7'
Producers of 'Fast & Furious 7' announced Tuesday that Paul Walker’s brothers are helping to complete actions sequences which were unfinished before the actor’s death. Walker died in a fiery California car crash last November, which caused a temporary halt in production. Although Walker’s dramatic scenes were in fact completed before his death, some smaller action sequences were left uncompleted. The producers also wrote to fans in a Facebook post on Tuesday, saying, "We had to take time to grieve Paul, the brother we love and lost, and to figure out if we should move on with our film." Set to have been released this summer, Universal pushed back the release of the film to April 10, 2015. Walker's character, Brian O’Conner, was the key-factor that sparked the significant success of the highly profitable and long-running film franchise.United States Government Warns of Heartbleed Bug
The US government has warned that it believes hackers are trying to make use of the Heartbleed bug. The Department of Homeland Security advised the public to change passwords for sites affected by the flaw once they had confirmed they were secure. However, an official added that there had not been any reported attacks or malicious incidents. The alert comes as several makers of net hardware and software revealed some of their products had been compromised. Affected equipment includes network routers and switches, video conferencing kit, phone call software, firewalls and apps that let workers remotely access company data. The encryption flaw can potentially be exploited to steal passwords and secret keys used to protect computer users.GTA Online's Capture Creator Release
Grand Theft Auto V players can now create and customize their own Capture Jobs for Grand Theft Auto Online using the game's Creator tool, Rockstar Games has announced. To celebrate the update, Rockstar will select four of the best Capture Jobs creators and give them a chance to score one million in the game’s currency as well as an exclusive in-game "CAPTURE" license plate. The four official selections will become Rockstar Verified Jobs, and their makers will also join Rockstar on a future live Twitch broadcast to talk about their creations. Rockstar also announced that it’s extending the 2X GTA$ and RP period leading up to the Capture Creator release. Playing any Capture Jobs will now earn you double GTA$ and RP through Sunday, April 20. Although, the long awaited heists are still expected to be released in the spring.Google Glass Released To The Public For One Day
Google Glass will go on sale to the US public on 15 April for a single day, the company has announced. Users must be 18 years old and are required to fill in an online form in order to be eligible to buy the device. The high price will be likely to deter many enthusiasts, who may be forced to wait for price reductions. The tech giant sold the device to 8,000 individuals in 2013 as part of their Explorer programme. Google will now give more people the opportunity to test the computer, a sign that the company is getting closer to an official release. Google Glass will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis after an initial online sign-up process.Titanfall Xbox 360 Won't Be Available Via Games on Demand
Electronic Arts will not release the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall digitally through Games on Demand, the company announced on its Support website today. "After extensive testing, we felt that it simply did not represent the true Titanfall experience and it was decided not to release a Games on Demand version," EA said. Of course, EA never announced in the first place that Titanfall would be available for Xbox 360 through Games on Demand. All the same, EA says its decision to sell Titanfall for Xbox 360 exclusively on-disc is in the best interest of maintaining the integrity of the game. "We hope players understand this decision was all about quality and making sure you get the best Titanfall experience," EA said.Facebook Changes Privacy Settings Again
Facebook has tweaked its privacy settings yet again to ensure that its more than one billion members worldwide do not share anything publicly without meaning to do so. In the latest attempt to improve its privacy record, the social networking firm has introduced pop-up warnings to double-check if users want to post content without any restrictions. Facebook is also testing other changes, including: updating mobile and web designs with more prominent audience controls; a new default privacy setting for cover photos of private rather than public; a message clarifying who can see an image when friends re-share it; and more information on what “public” and “private” privacy options mean. Michael Nowak, a product manager on Facebook's privacy team, said the social network is trying to make privacy settings clearer for users, to avoid confusion caused by updates. However, some commentators have said that rather than championing privacy, Facebook’s latest initiative is more likely to be aimed at making users feel comfortable enough to share as much content as possible.Drake Surprises Cancer Patient
Kennedy Brown, a 15-year-old student at Carnegie Vanguard High got a pretty big surprise this weekend. The teenager, who has been battling a form of terminal brain cancer, was recently the subject of a hashtag campaign, #DrakeForKen, set up by the students at her high school, encouraging the rapper to pay her a visit. Apparently, Drake did get word of the rally, as he surprised Brown in her hometown of Houston this weekend. Documenting the encounter on Instagram, Drizzy captioned his posts “Me and this beautiful angel Kennedy #kenfordrake,” later revealing that Kennedy requested to touch his famous eyebrows, which he presented willingly. “She asked to touch the brows #accessgranted,” he wrote.50 Things Seen at Coachella
For two weekends every year, there is an oasis in the California desert, when the Empire Polo Club in Indio transforms into the music festival known as Coachella. This past weekend, around 90,000 fans a day came to see a couple of hundred musical acts (and nearly as many special guest stars). From Skrillex, Arcade Fire, and Pharrell Williams to the artisanal ice cream, the Rolling Stone team found the very best parts of the festival.
