Four Nato troops killed in country-wide Afghan attacks

"It said that three troops were killed by roadside bombs in the east, south and west, while the fourth died in an insurgent attack in the east."

"Last year 701 foreign troops were killed in Afghanistan"

It's a silly cycle really, the more troops they kill, the more we send.
I think that this will take a very long time to pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan.

They have themselves to blame. War against wars. There is an easy way to stop wars and terrorism, by not participating in them. Wars begets wars. I see this as America attacking Afghanistan and they defending themselves.

I know America is not helping but just delaying their stay there, I don't know if this is part of their plan and for what agenda. However I don't see why people are convinced this war is to help.
No war has been to help, no war has been good, all wars have included deception and convincing people it was for the better.

I hate when I ask someone what their thoughts on the war are.
I always get the same answers, that somehow it is for the good of the world. That seems very ignorant to me, seeing as how we are the ones antagonizing them by invading their country and not leaving.

Don't say that. It's the governments behind these people that are forcing them into these situations, people join the military usually out of financial troubles. I have family in Afghanistan, and by saying what you said, you are insulting me.

Not you but rather your family member's bad choice.

So you're implying that because my family member is a soldier and is deployed in Afghanistan, he's evil? I don't think he really had a choice.

He didn't have a choice? What the fuck country is he from? He surely did have a choice. I don't respect anyone who supports pointless, unnecessary and evil wars.

He was in a tough spot economically and that was his only option to survive, unless he is killed over there.

He could easily have asked your family for help, could he not? Could you not support him for a while until he found a job?

Well no, he lives in Italy and he go into trouble with the mafia. So he joined the Italian army and was transferred to the NATO forces in Afghanistan.

I don't know, why not go ask yourself in Afghanistan.

Personally I think he should have fled Italy and looked for a safe hiding place if the mafia is after him.

We offered to fly him to America but he declined and joined the army, I guess it was his fault.

Well, I do hope he's safe. I just absolutely hate him for making that kind of decision :|.
