The free services should get their own sub forum so we can easily divide it between the ones that require $ or some form of payment to the free ones. Could also divide the quality services from each other.
Just something to organize the service offers forum.

bump for notice hopefully this can be seen through. I do find it a good idea as I hope others will come about to support it. The marketplace is a growing place and services shall grow as well; free or paid.

What would we do with the services that have Both Paid and Free Services. Separating the two services could get annoying for the person running the service.

Additionally, the way of ranking the quality of the service is by seeing how many vouches and sales the original poster has. Thats the only way to do it. Having a whole system built in on how to rank the quality would be too time consuming and unnecessary.

Some services will have perks that others will not, so it all depends on what the user is looking for.

Otherwise, it was a good suggestion but I dont think it is necessary. Especially when the Free and Paid services mostly use tags like [Free/Paid] and stuff like that.

Thoughts?

Pesterd, Your shop as you are talking about and future shops like yours will be in the paid services because your offering a nice benefit towards the user. But ultimately your still asking for money thus making it not free. The service has to be 100% free and yours is just a kind gesture.

I understand you now. Thank you for clarifying.

In the long run I think this will be a helpful suggestion.

My service is both, and no I don't agree because then people will only leech off the free and the people who work harder for paid won't make any money.

The free service offerings will simply be to build vouches. The Paid ones will be heavily vouched as well as trusted because there is money involved. I wouldnt give my account to someone to train for free if he had low Post Count or Reputation.

Therefore, I think the fix to this suggestion would be to have a minimum amount of Posts or Reputation in order to post a service, and have a minimum amount of vouches by completing services that are requested in the Buyers Bay.

Thoughts?

Or make a verified subform, where you need like 15+ vouches for your service to have it verified. or like a total of 50+ if you have more then 1 person in your service.

I think there should be a Middleman Sub-section AND a Free services subsection. Just to make it that much more organized.

Just state if it is free or not in the thread subject or simply in the thread.
Creating a new section to save a click I don't think is necessary.

I think having a free service to build vouches is useless. you should build vouches by having video recorded trades and going first to more reputable members [not talking about reputation]

Free services isn't really to build vouches, I could do the same service as a paid pay say I rather do it for free. But I guess you can look at it to build vouches, unless people enjoy doing certain services for free. Sooner or later I believe in the long run this could help. Even though Dusk says this will save us a click, as it would. But make it more organized instead of going through tons of service pages to find a couple free ones. I'm positive as the site grows services will grow and free services will grow no doubt.
