Q: Do I have to be silver?
A: Yes.
Q: I don't see the free month.
A: Make sure you're account region is the US, your account is silver, and you have a valid payment option on file. Paypal will work, personally I use a VCC money card with $1 on it.
Q: I still don't see the free month.
A: Make sure you use the "click here" AFTER YOU'VE SIGNED in on XBOX.com Q: How do I do this? A: Simple, just follow my steps listed above.

- Make a new email account here
- Sign into xbox here
- Click here
- Verify the account//Put in valid payment option
- Go to my My account
- Cancel Auto Renewal
- Go to Support, contact us, my account, billing etc
- Tell them you want to cancel your 1 month subscription (Make something up)
- Get a 1 month token
- Do whatever you want
