It's 2billion views and counting for South Korean pop star Psy and his irrepressible Gangnam Style.

The surprise hit of 2012 has become the first YouTube video to surpass 2billion views, crossing the mark shortly before midnight Friday.

The unlikely viral star holds the record for most overall views and most views in a day with 38million for his Gangnam Style followup Gentleman.

I never really liked Gangnam style because of how overrated and overused people did it to the point that it wasn't even funny anymore. Which usually happens to alot of things that become viral. BUT I am really into KPop so it's alright of a song. For some wierd reason I don't think 2 billion views is alot to me aha
