I know this is a reoccurring debate, but there's so many people against it when there's nothing validly wrong with it.

I dislike that lots of people feel it's necessary to point out they're not gay after defending homosexuality.

I say this whether it's religion, Addiction, or Sexuality. If it doesn't bother me, or have anything to do with me, why should I stop them?

I personally see nothing wrong with gay marriage, infact I support it 100%. Letting people get married to whom they love is in no way affecting me nor anyone else so I don't see any problem with it. I do come to realize the whole religion thing and how it is "unholy" to sleep with the same sex. But what people don't realize is that the bible also says divorce is "unholy" yet nobody seems to care.

Religious beliefs are the only reasoning for why homosexuality is "wrong," but religion has no justifiable valid reasoning for why it is wrong. Not biologically, socially, or in any other way. I have yet to see one thing wrong with homosexuality that would make it wrong.


I brought this topic up to see the opposing sides viewpoint and reasoning, but everyone on ForumKorner's a liberal. I want more conservatives!

Good point. I personally think it's an insult to intelligent discourse when people try to use "God" as a reason to ban gay marriage. Hiding behind "God" when people don't have any good argument is just pathetic.

Besides, religion didn't invent marriage, marriage invented itself. Religion can't just control everyone's lives any more.

Yeah, but there is still a high intolerance of homosexuality, and the point of this debate is show the opposing side there is validating reasoning for why homosexuality is wrong. It's still an important debate nonetheless.

Too bad American beer is like having sex on a raft. It's fucking close to water.

Anyways, I do not mind gay marriage. A gay couple's relationship status should be kept between them. Who are we to tell anyone who they can and cannot marry. I am still waiting for a justified reasoning for why it is wrong, one that is not directly related to religion.
