Can someone provide for me a cogent, non-slippery slope argument against the acceptance homosexuality or homosexual marriage? I have asked this question to about 25 people and no one has been able to provide an argument.

No yea and i am sure that no one can make a valid argument about it, I am 100% for it as well there shouldn't be a law saying that the same sex cant be married. I would be very surprised if someone could make a argument

Most people who are against same sex marriage usually turn to religious value but honestly it's because they were raised by assholes and by default, are assholes. Just check out the Westboro Babtist Church cult. Anyone who says they are "neutral" on the matter are actually against it because back in the mid 20th century back interactively marriage or even partnership was contraband and there were people who said they were "neutral" about it.

That's pretty much all I've heard. Dogmatic responses, "just because" responses, "I don't like them" responses.

You'll find that the most common assurance from a person against homosexuality, is that they think it's immoral, unnatural, and wrong.
The source of this mindset has likely evolved from the whole idea of 'a true man is strong and masculine', some stereotypical concept that their white father's fed them to. It's also tainted with religious beliefs, and more often than not, someone against homosexuality is going to have a faith of some form.

That's an example of a slippery slope argument, which is a fallacy.

It often has to do with the way people are raised. They're taught that something such as same-sex marriage is "unacceptable" or "morally wrong," and tend to stick to this belief no matter what. It's silly.

The only argument with value in my opinion is that, with homesexuality, you will not reproduce, therefore endangering the human race. But since were already hella overpopulated, the argument no longer applies.
