Well, its not actually a hack. So, I'll just say these are some of the methods that I have used to get into windows xp. And hope it helps you people.
1. Go to cmd. Type "net user username newpassword" (without quotes)
Username :Type the username of the user whose password you want to change.
Newpassword : Type the new password you want the account to have.
Press enter. If everything goes right, then the password is changed! You need to have admin privilege for it.
2. Replace Sethc.exe
Press shift key on your keyboard for 5 times. A new window pops out (i.e Sticky Keys) . Now we are gonna replace this file with something else so that when we press shift for 5 times another program like cmd comes up instead of sticky keys. Now go to system32 and copy cmd.exe to somewhere else. Rename that copied cmd.exe to sethc.exe . Then delete the original copy of sethc.exe in System32 and paste the modified one there.Now press shift key for 5 times and cmd prompt shouldl pop up. Now you can do anything with that cmd prompt. You need to have administrator privilege to do this. So whenever u get a chance to use admin account then immediately do this thing so that u can access it later. You can do almost anything with this cmd. Now go to this link : <a class="postlink" href="http://nirsoft.net/utils/network_password_recovery.html">http://nirsoft.net/utils/network_password_recovery.html</a> and download the thing. Keep it in ur pendrive. Once you are in the login screen of windows xp press shift key for 5 times continually untill cmd pops out. Then go to your pendrive through cmd. Open the tool that you have downloaded from above link through command prompt and there, the program will show the password of the accounts. Replacing sethc.exe is also helpful in getting rid of viruses because while you press shift key 5 times on the login screen you can use any program associated with that file because virus cannot disable anything at that time. It means, if you replace sethc.exe with taskmgr.exe then you can use taskmgr on the login screen even though it is disabled by virus!
Besides using the software to find password, when u r in the login screen, press shift key for 5 times....and u can simply change the password through this command : "net user username password" or just type "explorer" and type "taskkill /f /im logonui.exe" and there u have admin account.(note : This way worked in my pc but didn't worked in my laptop so try using the software if it doesn't work)
3. Goto Run > Type : "control userpasswords2" to change the admin password.
4: Goto Run > Type : "lusrmgr.msc" to change password of all the accounts.
5. Download some brute force cracking softwares. You can find lots of softwares . Download them burn to your cd and then boot from them. They'll go on bruteforcing till the password is cracked. Here is one :http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/ .Its bigger in size. But you find smaller ones too. Even those which can change limited account to admin account.This way is the only way which works for limited account. I dont think there's any way through which you can hack admin account from limited one.
6. While you are on the login screen, press Ctrl+Alt+Del for 2 to 3 times, then classical login dialog box will pop up. Change the username on that box to "administrator" or "guest"(without quotes). This way might be useful only in a home computer and if the users have no good knowledge of computers.
7. Trying to boot from Safe mode might also work some times. Some times, it doesn't prompt for passwords.
