Riddle me this, christians:

If god is omnipotent, omniscient and purely benevolent, then why does evil exist?

Answer 1: "Satan did it"
If god is almighty, he could stop satan any time.

Answer 2: "Because God wants to test us"
If he is omniscient, he already knows the result of the test.

the problem of evil is a pretty sound argument. Don't expect too much resistance.

Lots of Christians will say that evil is because of free will and the whole Adam & Eve story, but that has a few flaws.

1. Why is all of humanity responsible for the actions of one woman? Plus, she ate an apple, so now children have to be born with cancer? Right.

2. If god is omniscient, then he knows exactly what choice you're going to make, and there's no possible way for you to make any other choice. That's not free will.

Just to clarify idc about what your religion is and feel free to worship whatever you want just don't force your belief on someone else.

In the bible it even says Satan controls this world (but limited). God has allowed him too. I don't know why but I am guessing it relates to Satan tricking Adam and Eve. He also allows Satan to deceive us because if we are truly faithful to him we won't fall for trickery. And all that nada nada.
