Besides I am not even trying to argue the existence of the Christian God. Just the possible existence of a higher power in general.

I myself am kind of an Agnostic.

EDIT: http://bible.cc/psalms/149-2.htm

It was evolution that created mankind, not a man/woman/thing.

That isnt true. It is only true if you are arguing with a blindly led person who has been brainwashed into thinking that god is all, everything. I have converted a few christians because of logical reasoning that sheds light on the bibles fallacies.

I actually kind of agreed most every time I've argued with someone no matter what the issue they never seem to change their opinion because of being narrow-minded. I've argued with my mother a few times about legalizing marijuana. But she is still fixed on all the gateway drug, cancer, etc. bullshit.

I try to be as open minded as possible when it comes to debates.

Well, let's see. You seem to be VERY defensive about Christianity in general, by the look of the previous post. Then, mock my question into making me look like a fool. Let me tell you this, since you're so "open minded". Where exactly in the Bible did it say the Earth was created 6,000 years ago? Where did it say that dinosaurs were never created? (I'm really gonna love this answer). Where did it say that it talked about magical creatures such as the Unicorn?

According to him it says that the world was created 6000 years ago in Luke 3:38 which clearly states
Code:
the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.

That states nothing, and please put the ENTIRE verses in. Because people seem to misunderstand the meaning of it when it's put in that perspective.

Still states nothing about the world being created 6000 years ago

Code:
Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry. He was the son, so it was thought, of Joseph,

the son of Heli, 24 the son of Matthat,

the son of Levi, the son of Melki,

the son of Jannai, the son of Joseph,

25 the son of Mattathias, the son of Amos,

27 the son of Joanan, the son of Rhesa,

the son of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel,

the son of Neri, 28 the son of Melki,

the son of Addi, the son of Cosam,

the son of Elmadam, the son of Er,

29 the son of Joshua, the son of Eliezer,

the son of Jorim, the son of Matthat,

the son of Levi, 30 the son of Simeon,

the son of Judah, the son of Joseph,

the son of Jonam, the son of Eliakim,

31 the son of Melea, the son of Menna,

Not at all. When did it state he made Adam?

God created man on the 6th day of creation (Genesis 1:26).

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Man. Nothing about Adam.

If Adam was the first man, and he made man on the sixth day it's common sense. Also I'm on you side, why are you trying to prove me wrong?

These are when the 'days' are really mis-interpreted. Not as an actual day, nor week, we don't know how long it would've been.

Besides, I'm not on a "side". I'm just speaking throughout of what I believe.

You can't say that is misinterpreted without saying that everything is. If they say day, and they don't mean day, they wouldn't of said it.

So, you don't exaggerate at all.

I don't believe stuff in the Bible is the way that it is suppose to be meant, to fully understand is to read the entire thing. It's like watching parts of Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. Then trying to get the story.
